“Delicious menu items.. the pear salad is delicious and a fabulous starter to share. I had the swordfish over the lobster succotash and it was fantastic.. the succotash alone would be a delight! Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back. We ended with the flourless chocolate cake and it was perfect“

“We visited for the first time last night and I think it’s our new favorite! My kids LOVED the food-especially my 2yr old, he got the kids fish and chips! I got the half roasted chicken-oh Emmy goodness it was so good! Dessert was great too-baked apple pie! Yum! Staff was kind and attentive. We will definitely be back!“

“Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Lemonade/tea was not too sweet (perfect), tartar sauce yummy, fish hearty, and on top of it the chips were a trimix of tatter tots, waffle fries, and standard fries.

“We were a party of nine and four weeks ago I reserved the private room overlooking the marina. I confirmed it with the restaurant via telephone, but when we arrived, it had been given to another party for a bridal event. I was disappointed, but the manager gave us a beautiful table outside and gave us some compensation towards the cocktails. We had a wonderful evening. The music was terrific and the new area outside is stunning. We are very grateful for the way this restaurant handled and unfortunate mixup. We live locally and go there frequently and think it's one of the best values, outstanding service and food and views. Looking forward to their expansion for outdoor seating next summer. Highly recommend one of our top choices on the South Shore.“

“Ok, understanding that this was 'Chowder Day' and the take out line was packed.... The clam chowder was good, HOWEVER, the initial bowl brought was cold. The waitress apologized and brought new ones. Which were lukewarm. Too bad, I do love their chowder. I will say, had the right flavor, visible clams and not too heavy on the potatoes. I had steamed mussels - very garlicky and lemony (YUM) but I should have asked for extra bread for the juice. Trust me, ask for extra bread for the juice! Hubz had nigiri which he said was excellent. So just be careful if they're running a special - could throw off the dining experience“

“If I could give an extra star for service I would! When making the reservation, the restauant was told that someone with celiac would be dining. The first time the waitress approached the table, she asked who is celiac and talked me through their menu and protocols. I felt completely comfortable eating here as they were very knowledgeable and take precautions seriously. There is also a dedicated GF fryer, yay! I had the thai coconut cod and it was wonderful! Wish I lived closer, I would definitely go back.“

The batter is perfectly light, doesn’t separate from the fish and the result is simply the best fried fish I’ve EVER TASTED! Do yourself a favor and check them out!“

“Came in on a whim while looking for a place to eat a birthday brunch for my Grandmother, we all took the fish and chips plate which was perfection, and the staff were awesome throughout our entire meal, especially our waitress. They even suprised my grandmother with a cheesecake dessert after we had finished out meals which was pleasent. Highly reccomend this place for a seafood lunch or a relaxing drink near the water!“

“We had a wonderful experience at Oro. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so pleasing. We celebrated two High School graduates. One from Michigan who is going to Stanford and the other from Utah who will be attending the University of Utah. Everything went as planned. We especially want to thank Tatum who planned everything out for us. She answered all our questions and helped make the evening such a success. Everyone RAVED about the food. We had passed apps and the Lamb Lollipop was definitely the crowd favorite. We had a few severe allergies in our guest list and the staff was more than accommodating to keep our guests safe. The Parrot was the perfect spot for us, delicious food, amazing views and a top notch staff. 🌟“

“After living in Rockland for almost 10 years about a month ago I finally went into Dina’s. I ordered a steak and cheese at the counter and was told give me five minutes it’ll be ready! Now I thought to myself five minutes really so then I said, all time you do you think you can do it in five minutes, and the young lady behind the counter smiled, looked at me and said I own the place. I’ll have it in five minutes. Four minutes later, I had this perfectly cooked perfectly engineered steak and cheese. Now I’m a sucker for a slice of pizza as well so I grabbed one ehhh it’s just slice. Anything is better than Ellio’s. I grabbed my dinner and I left. I have my slice on the way home and it was amazing across between Greek style pizza and South Shore bar pie. Absolutely outstanding steak and cheese with top notch and since then I’ve been several times on my way home from work for some reason the slices get better and better each time but on a whim I tried the turkey gobbler one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time!“

“It might sound strange to some, but I want to thank SGD for having some of the best rice in the area. A lot of restaurants go for cheaper rice options to save on costs. SGD using better quality rice really does elevate the meal, and helps it stand out among other Asian dining options. Thank you for this attention to detail!

SGD is also my favorite Korean restaurant in the Quincy area. The clam 순두부찌개 (soondubu jjigae) is my go-to!“
