“I love this place. My friends introduced it to me when I first moved to the area and my husband, son, and I have been going ever since. They do dollar oysters every day until 5:30pm, which is hard to find these days. It's the best deal in town! We also love the poutine and there's usually a few great local/seasonal beers on draft. Great atmosphere and the guys who work here are friendly, efficient, and helpful. Highly recommend!”
“Vegetarian options: Tofu bibimbap is really great. So much so my veg partner has not wanted to try anything else.Parking: Parking is steep but wide open on Esther road for dinner and evening pickup.Kid-friendliness: I take my 4yr old here to get bubble tea and chicken katsu. He loves it.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance to sidewalk, seating layout and bathrooms are pretty spacious.”
“This place is a true GEM! The chef has a true passion serving his food and it shows. Top notch quality all around. This should be on your list to visit & eat!!! Enjoy!!!”
“Dinner and drinks with a friend, great service and food. We had a fish sandwich that was plentiful and delicious and the Parmesan fries were outstanding. My friend had the “plain Jane” pizza which was great too! Definitely a “go to” in the neighborhood. Drinks were excellent, a white sangria and a razz lemonade!”
“Our family keeps an “Ethnic Cuisine Bucket List” that’s going to be harder to complete, now that we’ve found Al Wadi. We drove 25 miles to check it out, and we cannot wait to come back. We had the mezza sampler platter (beautiful and fresh), and Shakeeb, our attentive server, made sure we ordered well, “but not too well!” Magnificent lamb shank, tabouli, and eggplant stew. Actual quote from our 12-year-old: “There’s going to be a ‘next time,’ right dad?”There most certainly will!Did I mention they have parking, too? Five stars, all the way.Vegetarian options: Vegan, too.Kid-friendliness: Our 12 and 15 year old boys were not put upon and loved it. Other families there with small children.”
“Had the beef noodle soup. Absolutely delicious, very bold and intense flavor. Very good on a chilly day.The dining area was very cold. It looked very plain , no pictures , nothing on the tables. Needs character if you want people to dine in. It reminded me of a cold deli counter.”
“Finally tried dining in at Phu-Ket after only having it via takeout after all these years. It's small from the outside, but cute and intimate on inside: quiet, more tables than I expected and clean, so I was blown away. I came here for dinner with my dad, and we got the Pork Tenderloin with Sticky Rice appetizer, Spicy Duck Fried Rice, and Seafood Pad Thai. All delicious and a great portion for the price. The price for all the items was about $40-$50, which is very reasonable. And with the takeout rice I got, that was still under $70. The service was a bit slow to start, but there were a lot of tables and takeout orders the whole night. So it's definitely popular, and I can see why. Even had a lovely chat with hostess and chefs after. I'll definitely be back! Bring your appetite and be willing to try new things!”
“Incredible service! The girl working the counter was SO sweet and talkative. The food was delicious, not too greasy and a great taste. Close to public transportation and plenty of parking around. You can even buy pizza by the slice! Highly recommend.”
“Fairouz has been exceeding expectations regarding catering for large events and various settings. I have worked with Fairouz to cater to personal and work-related events, and the service keeps improving. All of my guests asked where the food was ordered from. I will always work with Fariouz for catering and events. I highly recommend it. The staff and owner are kind and professional. They will adjust the order per your requests and are very flexible. Delivery is always on time, and they even set up the venue! Thank you, Fairouz!”
“My first time and I was satisfied, the pupusas taste perfect. The nachos too and the girls very friendly. I recommend it, I have never left a restaurant so happy haha, thank you.??”
“Wow, some of the best Thai food I’ve had and at very reasonable prices. Truly enjoyed the basil pad Thai as well as the Tom Yum soup. Service was quick and friendly and the food is really a standout. Hope to come back here soon.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available”
“Townie alert !!!My first time here ! I was looking for dine in and this guy Bobby has it all. Clean and friendly. I walk in and Bobby said welcome and how do you take your coffee? I love the menu it's in the board and he got my order right. The French toast was COOKED all the way thru and that makes my whole breakfast excellent.Loads of butter and real food and sooo worth it. I like the good humor Bobby has and all the patrons smiles along and laughed. This was great”
