“My daughter stopped in today on her way out of a drs appt. She brought home 2 perfect pistachio croissant and a box with 12 macaron. Everything was delicious. I don’t understand the limits! Her trip here must have been after noon time (1-2pm). They said one croissant per order, but since it was her and her bf they allowed them to purchase two. I understand not wanting to sell out at 8-9am and perhaps limiting, but all our money is the same! If someone gets there and waits in line and has money, sell to them! Mid afternoon limits seem silly. I’d think they would want the cases empty by closing time. I have waited 2 months to enjoy something from there. I hope to be able to purchase and try more, but we are an hour and a half away. I’d be so disappointed to go all that way and not be able to purchase a healthy size box/order. Please rethink the limit stuff!! Sincerely the best macaron and croissant I’ve had at 51 years of age! Can we order ahead and pay?”

“What a great new spot! I’m always on the hunt for good ramen and this place certainly hits the mark. It’s a small place with a cozy atmosphere and an open kitchen so you can watch the magic happen. The food isn’t cheap but it’s not exorbitant either, and you certainly get your money’s worth. Service was speedy and we didn’t feel at all rushed taking our time over our food.
If you’re looking for a lower key date night or an extra delicious dinner with friends this is the perfect place!”

“Very good pizza, especially the pepperoni one, we were very well served by Gigi, very friendly and attentive.
The only thing that bothered us a little was the hostess, a bald guy with glasses, who welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant, seemed uncomfortable with our presence, constantly looking at our table suspiciously. We were dressed the same as everyone else and our behavior was the same as everyone else there, so I really don't know what the reason was.
Other than that, great service and good food.”

“I was really looking forward to dinner here after finally snagging a reservation, but perhaps I came in with too high of expectations or ordered poorly. The quality of the food was certainly excellent, but none of the dishes truly amazed me where I would crave to go back. Sharing notes so hopefully someone else will order better than we did:
Pizza Bianca with ricotta & hot honey - loved that it came out super hot, but unless you love ricotta I would try a different dip
Mortadella & house pickles - great quality but wouldn't eat alone; best paired with some pizza bianca (and ask for it to come out with the pizza bianca...otherwise you might have to wait for it like we did)
Trevisano salad - my favorite bite because the red wine vinaigrette does help cut through all the other rich dishes
Cappelletti - more al dente than I expected, and it was hard to appreciate on its on because it was too salty
Tagliolini - also more al dente than I expected and kind of bland, though the flavors actually came out better when I ate the leftovers at room temp
Bergamot Blush cocktail - really well balanced, my husband enjoyed this a lot”

“Left another place to come here because the customer service was bad. What a 180. Citizen staff was friendly, great w/suggestions and helped secure me a seat at their busy bar. Had two great cocktails and a delicious pepper seared filet. Well done Citizen Pub!! I will be back!”

“Good food, but not worth the rushed experience.
My wife and I reserved a birthday brunch here. After traveling an hour, we were rushed in and out in just 25 minutes. The server was so rushed they missed several of our ordered dishes. The bill arrived right away, leaving no time to discuss the missing items.”

“Stopped by today for the first time because I was craving pasta and I was really impressed by how nice they were! I had a very lovely conversation with the guy running the place and he was very friendly and even threw in some free garlic bread! Customer service done right in Boston!!!!
The food was pretty good and the portions are pretty decent. I tried the cajun chicken and shrimp alfredo pasta and my friend had mushroom ravioli and we absolutely loved both.
If you work in Brigham or go to Harvard Med I highly recommend stopping by.
Again, it is mostly the outstanding friendliness and customer service for me, the pasta is great too!”

“The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. But so so delicious, fresh, we are so fortunate to have you here!”

“What an amazing place. In these times when we are still not comfortable dining indoors this place rocks. The chef behind these dishes knows a thing or two about bringing beer garden food to a totally new level. Thank you chef and staff in front of the house.”

“It's been over 10 years since first coming here. And I'm so glad they're still thriving.
Still one of my favorite cocktail bars in the Boston area. Great mixologists with lots of knowledge and keeping it fresh with seasonal drinks and continually to push the limits on unique and special cocktails.
If you wanna just get hammered, probably not the place for you unless you're trying to show off with limitless funds.”

“Very welcoming. I got there about an hour before closing so I picked my food quickly. I had the Creamy Tum Yum and added a little chili oil to it for some spice. It is a great dish for someone who wants flavor with little to no heat. There was plenty of pork and two shrimp tails. I also had the Thai Tea which from the picture in the menu I was worried was a premade mix. Instead it came out fresh and required me to swirl it around to blend the cream. Perfect flavor and temperature. Not overly sweet like some places make it.
The atmosphere was laid back with some cool art work on the walls. Definitely gave a college town feel. The bathroom could use some work. It wasn't scary. It was clean and well stocked but it is definitely on the back burner when it comes to decorating.
I'm surprised they don't have merchandise. Their logo would be a cool patch on a hat. Seems like most restaurants are doing this now and I'm here for it. Better than buying shot glasses.
Anyways, check the place out for some good hot pots, ramen, etc. when in the area.”

“We love Bar Mezzana. The bucatini amatriciana is our go to comfort food and we love also love the Orchid Thief, an orange flavored mocktail with a hint of vanilla. It is consistent and the service is always good.”

“Earlier this year vegetarian restaurant Walnut Grille was renamed as Shiva's Kitchen, focused on serving Indian cuisine. No longer a fully vegetarian restaurant, but kept many of the same menu items, like my favorite, the Manchurian Gobi. We were a bit reluctant to go back after mixed reviews on Happy Cow and the fact its no longer fully vegetarian. However, I am glad we went after seeing a review from local instagram Boston Herbivore. We ordered the Manchurian Gobi, Vegan Samosa, Tofu Saag and Tofu Madras. Everything came out piping hot, super fresh and delicious! Manchurian Gobi is crispy, sweet and a nice sweetness. Samosas are solid, super crispy, brimming with delicious filling. Tofu Saag was delicious! I loved the fresh ginger topping too. I had a bite of the Tofu Madras, super creamy from the coconut milk and a nice spice. Overall 10/10 for the vegan options with so many options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts. A solid 7/10 for food! Everything was delicious! I think next time I will ask for more spice/heat. Food was milder to appeal to a wider audience. I will rate a bit lower, 5/10 for service since we waited 15 to 20 minutes to order and another 15 to pay. To be fair, a lot was going on! And most of the tables were full when we left. Two appetizers, two entrees came out to $67 with 20% tip, which I think is a reasonable price for dinner out! I would definitely come back for the options and fresh, healthy, delicious food! I also feel confident eating vegan here. My experience with most Indian restaurants is that they advertise vegan but then everything contains butter or ghee.”
