“Larry is a great barista! He’s very friendly and always makes my coffee very good. He always greets me by my name and knows my order. He’s also quick at what he does. One of the best baristas there!”
“What a shame I didn't discover this place sooner. Very good atmosphere, charming service and great quality of food.We had dinner at the bar and I enjoyed the experience many times. The Oysters are very top. We also ordered tuna and sea bass tartare.I will repeat for sure”
“The food is absolutely delicious! The Lamb Souvlaki and Slow Roasted Lamb, well seasoned, delicious, and tender. The Mkhlovani and the Arugula and Fig Salad were tasty and nicely done.”
“The food was delicious and experience was mind-blowing. I loved the small plates concept and got to try so many different dishes. Every bite was extremely flavorful and delicious. Za'atar bread was to die for. Staff was EXTREMELY polite! They were also very conscious of allergens and accommodated and offered allergan-free options.Place is a bit small and crowded but nothing too inconvenient.”
“If you're in Boston, this is the best brunch place in town. The food was absolutely amazing oh and the mimosas to die for. The staff was do attentive all taking turns checking on us this place is a ”
“First time at Tonino. Chitarra (spaghetti variation) with clams was tasty, with a generous portion of clams. Eggplant ricotta pizza was also good. Pizza bianca was similar to focaccia -- basically bread -- with dips, not toppings. Caponata dip was fine. Trevisano (radicchio) salad was skimpy with an unremarkable dressing. We didn't try desserts. The small space is attractive but crowded, with tables cheek by jowl. Long wait for the pasta and pizza.”
“Eventide Fenway absolutely had the most amazing food I’ve ever tasted. Carefully crafted seafood cuisine, raw bar and great cocktails. I hear that there is a mothership location in Maine. I’ll try that too one day. PERFECTION! Great staff too”
“The lobster is very fresh and delicious~ especially when dipped in butter, it goes straight to heaven. You can also order the soup! But it may be sold out, so you can go earlier!”
“My wife and I found ourselves stuck in Cambridge as a result of certain family entanglements. We were feeling glum with no bright options for spending the evening. THEN.... we stumbled into Pammys and things went technicolor. We were seated at the southeast end of bar and were almost immediately sipping a 29 degree Martini and an Oaxaca Old Fashioned. In addition to being a really great bar full of fashionable, chatty and probably interesting local people, Pammy's also has a full menu of really great food including asparagus served with a cured egg yolk and a circle of something very tasty that resembles a large egg white cut into a slice. We also tried crispy mushrooms, some fish, pasta, bread pudding and some really delicious bread (which is offered free of charge, at least at the bar.) The staff of the restaurant, including a woman who I believe was the Eponymous Pammy of Pammys, were all very friendly and made us feel welcome being in Cambridge. We met a very nice person from Maine which was another exciting wrinkle to the experience. We will definitely go back the next time life throws us a curveball and we are stuck in the Boston metro area. A big thanks to Pammys for salvaging our night!”
“Outstanding food. Excellent service. Noise level was wonderful so that we could comfortably sit and chat - which is a rare gift in dining out. Lovely ambiance. We will gladly return and highly recommend”
“Been going here for years since I grew up in Somerville, pretty much have been going ever since y’all opened, and it hits every time. Excellent food, ambience, kitchen team, and nice servers/hosts. Never sat at the bar but I bet it’s great too. I’ve recommended this place to friends new to Somerville and I don’t make food recs lightly!Pictures:OlivesFlatbread (insanely good)Meatballs and aranciniCalamariOctopusMeat lovers spicy pizza”
“Could be my favorite place in the world. Are you bookish, social, hungry? Lehrhaus is an amazing combo of lively house of study, cocktail bar, and restaurant with contemporary creative dishes. Attend a class, eat at the rail, meet your friends in the lounge, bring your little ones for a meal. It's all there in one place and the hospitality is top-notch.”
“THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE KRASI STAFF.The hostess Jasmine is a GEM! She truly made our day. She went above and beyond for us!Every single staff member was so friendly, kind and welcoming. Our waiter Jose was great. We were able to enjoy a lovely brunch to celebrate my sister’s birthday!Beautiful atmosphereDelicious food and drinksOur choices:SpanakopitaAvga me patatesPeinirliPatatesMilopita (was so good, after we ate ours, we ordered one to go!)Alcoholic Drink: Tears of Dionysos10/10Keep it up! “Left another place to come here because the customer service was bad. What a 180. Citizen staff was friendly, great w/suggestions and helped secure me a seat at their busy bar. Had two great cocktails and a delicious pepper seared filet. Well done Citizen Pub!! I will be back!”
“Absolutely excellent meal with an excellent team. Starting with the amazing bread and butter and a ln orange creamsicle (adult version of a childhood favorite). Then the broccoli salad with poached egg (poached expertly creating a creamy sauce). I had the fusilli broccoli- home made pasta dressed beautifully. My husband had the chick pea stew - whole chick peas made this his favorite. Finished with delicious double chocolate chip cookies. Can’t wait to go back!”
“We have been at noon, on Monday, a very slow and almost empty. They have variety but of a medium quality. With many friends, to meet on a beer with something to share could be more suitable according to my opinion”
“Very good food, pretty portions. They are small so if there are two of you, order at least 4 plates! :) If You're a group of 4, you'll probably get to taste the whole menu. To me, main dishes selection was way better than the desserts. In the desserts section, everything seemed to be either chocolate based or ice cream. I wish there were more vegetarian options in the main menu, but I have to admit that the fish dishes were perfect, so if you're a pescetarian, you're good here. Love love love the atmosphere, the candles, the plants!”
“Best coffee shop in spring Hill, and gives everything in Davis a run for their money easy. Always a line out the door on weekends and deservedly, but they move fast. Great pepper biscuits, great yogurt. BLT is weirdly bad but the turkey sandwich is great.”
“Chef & owner Robert Harris gave us an wonderful experience by serving both delicious omnivore and vegetarian on the Tasting Counter. The spot gives a nice view of the cooks preparing dishes.”
“Love this place. The owner is so passionate about his baked goods and loves to tell you tons of history and tries to pair you with what you'd like the most when asked. Also love the free samples and the chai is amazing.”
“I went for the raving reviews but I found this place perfectly adequate. The cream of wheat was indeed the star of the show. It came quickly and hot, but then it was about a 45-50 minute wait for our mains. We went on a Sunday morning so maybe this is as slammed as they get but I wouldn’t recommend if you are super hungry. It also took about 20 minutes to get a table, but you can put your name on a wait list and they have free coffee outside which is a nice touch. The mains were decent… far from the best breakfast I’ve ever had but it was fine enough. Also heads up if you’re visiting from out of town/out of country it’s cash or venmo only.”
“I don’t know why I hadn’t eaten here until this week! I have heard so many good things. The service was top notch, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. All of the food was incredible. The wine options were interesting, and the Armenian red my friend and I had was fabulous. If you haven’t made time to check this place out because it’s out of the way for you, I definitely recommend making the time!”
“One of my favorite places in Boston. Really intimate space, so book a table/seats ahead of time (sometimes up to 2-3 weeks for weekend slots). Sake variety is terrific, and you can sample before purchasing. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and passionate about sake. The food accompanying the sake is a bit of a hit or miss for me though. I would recommend eating before coming.”
“Absolutely loved it! We had the karami and enmi ramen, and shared the gyoza. We finished every last drop of the ramen and wanted to bathe in the sauce on the gyoza OMG. It was thriving and happening on a Wednesday night, and the waitstaff were lovely and attentive. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!”
“Pretty good egg sandwich, almond croissant, and iced mocha. Very cute cooking supplies store with hard-to-find ingredients like black cocoa. Only downside was that there was not much seating.”
“The little cakes and drinks are seasonal but they're so cute and delicious. I went in August and got a mango and a rose cake and a lavender drink. This January there was an apple and a hazelnut cake. They also made us a mocha latte that was so chocolatey and delicious. I love this place! It's pretty cozy and there's not a ton of sitting areas just fyi”
“The staff at Brassica are so knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. They bump the best playlists, joke with you, discuss taste preferences, honor allergies, and are actually excited to provide a good dining experience. It's truly a neighborhood gem that I want to gatekeep so badly but will not because everyone deserves this level of stellar dining and the team here deserves to succeed! The food is funky with a heavy focus on fermentation along with honing culinary techniques from around the world without trying to put out “Asian food” or “Latin cuisine” or “fusion”, just their own creations. They make spirits in house (turns out I can like vermouth!) and source wines from places most others restaurants don’t dare to cover. It’s where I bring all my visitors if I can snag a table!”
“The Tall Man and I were looking for a low key hangout with baby in tow, and Distraction Brewing was the perfect place. This new-to-us brewery on the cute pedestrian-only Birch St. had an outdoor patio but we opted for seats inside. It's not a big place, but it has a good number of tables and bench seating in a brightly lit space. The Tall Man got the autumn flight of 4 beers (one being one of their maltinis), which he enjoyed for their variety. I wasn't up for imbibing so I got a Health-Aid kombucha from the fridge. (They also carry Athlete's nonalcoholic beer in cans.) They have some packaged snacks for purchase, but they encourage people to get food from local businesses to eat there. It was pretty darn convenient to pick up lunch from nearby Chilacates. It made for a very chill lunch and sip. We weren't even the only ones with a stroller! It was a relief to find a brewery that's not utterly mobbed and where we could bring the little one. I would definitely come back for another relaxing hangout.”
“The food is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly. My favorite dish is the Isshindo ramen - the broth, noodles, egg and pork are delicious - you can’t go wrong ordering this! I highly recommend giving this place a try :)”
“First time at a Five Guys. It was a good experience. Burger & fries were great but be warned their regular burger is a double patty so go with the little burger for normal appetites. Better quality at a slightly higher price but still reasonable price.”
