“Every neighborhood should have a Blue Jay's. I stopped by here to grab a sandwich when driving through Dedham, and so happy I found it! The owner was so pleasant, patient as I took my time deciding what I wanted, and made me a delicious classic tuna sandwich. This is a no frills type of place. Good food, good people and the type of place that will put a smile on your face just walking in“
“We've lived in Dedham about a year and somehow hadn't been to Mocha Java yet. My wife and I went this morning with our 1-year old to get some coffee and get out of the house on a Saturday morning. The store is really nice - a cute assortment of books, beautiful bookshelves along the walls, neatly organized, and comfortable seating. The cafe is great, and the coffee was really good (I got Kenya AA). The barista was friendly and it definitely felt like a small town shop. There are several coffee shops in Dedham center - if you haven't checked out Mocha Java, I'd recommend it. I'll definitely be coming back!“
“I loved the vibe. Soooo much quieter and calmer and friendlier than a Starbucks or Dunkin, even though the place was filled with people coming in and out. Everyone spoke quieter. You could actually work here. Also, the food options were so creative, and the server got excited with me about experimenting, and we made a peach blossom lemonade, which was divine :-).I think one mark of a good cafe is how they let their customers enjoy and customize foods and drinks, and this place gets 5 stars!!!“
