Based on the reviews, OCHI Sushi and Ramen offers a mix of experiences. The food receives varied feedback: the sushi lunch special and sushi rolls are often good, with fresh fish and nigiri. However, the miso ramen broth is watery and salty, the sliced pork (tonkatsu) is tough, and the tempura has a premade thick layer. The pork gyoza was cool inside. While some call the sushi the best ever, others find it as good as any neighborhood place. The assorted maki plate and appetizers like gyoza and edamame are very good. The service is consistently great, fast, and respectful, with very nice servers. The atmosphere includes live jazz or jazz playing in the background, though the music can be loud and repetitive. Prices are reasonable for lunch specials, but sake prices are a little high for small bottles. Some wish the crab stick in rolls was broken up, and the recipe on the dragon ball changed. The place could use better furniture.
