“Exceptional food and service. I really love the care and effort put into the packaging and preparation as I’ve had a couple really big orders and I can see the staff diligently triple checking the accuracy of everything.

Thai dishes have a ton of flavor and are on par with the best you can get in the area. Love that the scallion pancakes are crispy and not saturated in grease as you see at other places. This will be my go to place indefinitely for Thai takeout.“

“This little cafe/restaurant is nestled in an alley next to a general store, it gives speakeasy vibes. The place is small, but clean and welcoming. I want to say it’s family owned, but I am not sure.

Their menu has breakfast/lunch/dinner options, plenty of options for vegetarians as well. We started with some scallion pancakes, they were crisp and delicious.

We ordered their drunken noodles with vegetables and basil fried rice 🍚 with egg and tofu. Their noodles 🍝 were saucy( I like when they are not dry, so I loved it) it also had the perfect level of spices, lots of veggies like broccoli 🥦 🫑 🍄‍🟫 🧅 🥕

The basil fried rice was okay, I have had better basil fried rice for sure. The taste was good, but I had higher expectations.

The Thai cold coffee🧋was the highlight of our meal. It was so perfect, that I would have had another glass. Strong coffee with low sugar, just how I like it.

“I was not expecting good Chinese food in the burbs of Boston, connected to a hotel. But, I was pleasantly surprised by Bamboo. It’s a beautiful restaurant with comfortable seating. We were there for dinner and it looked like they may have a daily lunch buffet during the week. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean.

Now the food. We had chicken lo mein, which was so delicious. Sometimes this dish is dry on Chinese restaurants, but not here. We also had the garlic duck which was so special. It’s large pieces of duck in a brown sauce with vegetables. We had the pork spareribs for an appetizer. We will definitely be back!“

“Very welcoming. I got there about an hour before closing so I picked my food quickly. I had the Creamy Tum Yum and added a little chili oil to it for some spice. It is a great dish for someone who wants flavor with little to no heat. There was plenty of pork and two shrimp tails. I also had the Thai Tea which from the picture in the menu I was worried was a premade mix. Instead it came out fresh and required me to swirl it around to blend the cream. Perfect flavor and temperature. Not overly sweet like some places make it.

The atmosphere was laid back with some cool art work on the walls. Definitely gave a college town feel. The bathroom could use some work. It wasn't scary. It was clean and well stocked but it is definitely on the back burner when it comes to decorating.

I'm surprised they don't have merchandise. Their logo would be a cool patch on a hat. Seems like most restaurants are doing this now and I'm here for it. Better than buying shot glasses.

Anyways, check the place out for some good hot pots, ramen, etc. when in the area.“

“Food and service here are amazing. The food here is cooked by a lovely Taiwanese ahma so it is clearly authentic Taiwanese food! This makes me miss the food at home. 非常道地又好吃 yummyyyy. The popcorn chicken was also crispy and the spice was just right. Braised beef noodle soup was tender and melts in your mouth. Overall I had a great experience and will come back soon for more!“

“My partner and I came here on Valentine’s Day with pretty high expectations based on the great reviews and how new/trendy it looked. While the food and service overall were good, there is plenty of room for improvement. The menu is pretty small and limited which I was not expecting based on it being an Asian fusion place. We ordered the Pork Egg Rolls, Shishito Peppers, Pork Gyoza Dumplings, Garlic Edamame, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Chef’s House Fried Rice to share. When we gave the order, our waitress said those were amazing choices and we wouldn’t be disappointed. The pork egg rolls were solid, nothing special and lacking flavor in my opinion. Especially for the price, I wouldn’t order them again. The shishito peppers were good, with a nice salty citrusy flavor, but no dipping sauce. I would recommend them. The pork gyoza dumplings were similar to the egg rolls in that they were solid but lacked flavor. I felt like I could make better ones at home, no sauce with these either other than the sauce on top. The edamame was very disappointing. I am not picky at all, but they were overcooked and soggy, and completely wet from the sauce. They were literally hard to eat because when you put them in your mouth they fall apart and you can’t separate the beans from the shell, causing you to have to pull out the shell from your mouth. Not pleasant. We ate some but gave up on finishing them. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The spicy tuna roll was OUTSTANDING. We eat a lot of sushi and we HIGHLY recommend the tuna roll. The pork fried rice was good, a lot of ingredients which I liked but it also could have used more flavor. It felt like it was missing something. It also weirdly came with a sauce which was good, but why do you need sauce for fried rice? For drinks we ordered the Japanese sour (solid), the lychee mojito (good), the yuzu martini (I loved it, my partner was meh) and the valentine drink special which was also good. The service was good, the waitress checked in on us like 5 times while our food was coming out but then when we actually wanted to order the second drink round, it took her a while to come back. The water-filler-upper was on his game, filling up our water the second it got halfway empty 😂. They gave us chocolate covered strawberries on the house for Valentine’s Day which was nice. I wish they had more sushi options, as I would like to come back to try those and the other items on the menu we didn’t order. Also, the vibe was great. The interior is very cool!“

“It’s a tiny place with a line of seating facing the wall and a few more facing the window/street. Stoves where the noodles are cooked are right next to the seats. There are two self order screens for customers to place orders, so the servers can be spared from taking orders— they are too busy. They are short with servers so there’s a bit wait for the food and for them to clean the tables. Everything is crowded. Also You have to go through the back kitchen prep area to get to the bathroom which is clean. But the food is great. Had hand pulled noodles with lamb, sour soup hand pulled noodles and pork Chinese burger 肉夹馍 all good! 肉夹馍has decent amount of meat.“

“This restaurant is so good, it is my first time here and I am impressed. The flavor is very authentic Asian, my favorite was the mango crispy duck and the pai thai. The pai tai tastes sweet and sour, the flavor is clean and refreshing. The duck is tender, the skin is crispy, and the sauce is similar to curry, and there is only a hint of spicy. I also like the fried chicken, it is crispy and juicy, and the sweet and spicy sauce just add a perfect layer of the taste. The curry were also really good, we had red curry with beef and green curry with seafood. I didn’t try the red curry but my friend love it. And my green curry is a definite recommendation, the seafood with curry taste perfect, there is a hint of spicy although it was mild. We had Ice Thai tea, both regular and green tea ones. And I love the green tea one, it is new. The service was really good, love it.“

Shared it all between two people and took home all leftovers, and I can’t believe I’m writing this but NO complaints. I have a hard time with beef/chicken often tasting a little gamey or subtly foul at other restaurants. It’s something that with enough seasoning, I don’t think most pick up on because I’ve usually been alone in that observation. However, the meat was clearly clean, seasoned with ginger which helped enhance all the other flavors, and then the beef with broccoli sauce. It was just amazing.

Parking: You’ll usually find street parking, might take a loop at most but if you’re having trouble, park at the paid parking lot off Walnut Street and walk 2 blocks.“

“This is totally a hidden gem! Doesn't look like much from the outside, and it is very basic on the inside. It was clean, including the bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a great lunch menu ($11.95) that comes with an amazing hot and sour soup. Complex flavors in a very dark broth. Traditional ingredients like golden needles, black mushrooms or fungus, tofu, and finished with sesame oil. Had a nice amount of heat to it. This is one of the best I've had. You get a choice of crab rangoons or dumplings. I went twice this week and had the dumplings both times. You get 3 good-sized dumplings with pork and a little juice/soup inside. These were amazing. My first day, my entrée was orange crispy chicken. This was extra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It had a delicious sauce with some orange rinds on the chicken. This truly was amazing. It also came with white rice and broccoli. The portions were big! The food was delicious!
The second day, I also got the lunch special. Another great cup of soup, I stuck with dumplings and got the Kung Pao Chicken! The chicken was tender, and the veggies were crispy. They did a great job with this dish. Highly recommend. Food came with a complimentary pot of tea and ice water. All of the lunch specials are. 11.95. It is truly a great value! There is plenty of parking across the street. A buck an hour. It's about a minute walk. Highly recommend! Food was delicious!“

“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“

“Delish!!! I’m 8 months pregnant and this pregnancy has been VERY TOUGH for my food intake. Very picky about what I’m eating (not by choice) but this baby seems to like only healthy items. No soda, no cake, candy, cookies, no fried foods (fries in the picture were not for me), no ice cream etc. Haven’t been able to eat beef either! But I’ve been craving Riceburg’s bulgogi steak!“

“Food is always really good, and portions are HUGE. The issue I have had twice now is when I order take out, they take forever to reconfirm the order. The first time they reconfirmed the order 20 minutes after I placed it then I had to wait another 15 minutes.

This second time it's now been over 30 minutes since I placed a takeout order and still no confirmation. And I'll probably end up having to call them and wait another 15 minutes.

* So after my meal I had a surprise voice mail from the manager. They were very apologetic, and also refunded me my meal. It really showed how much the care and value customer service and hospitality. *

“Got a takeout order and was really impressed! The mojo ramen broth was extremely flavorful and the chashu pork was tender and delicious. The noodles were also quite good even though I got a delivery and so they couldn't serve the noodles in the broth, I had to add it myself after reheating it. “We are vegetarians. We ordered three different kinds of ramen noodle soup(one of them substituted with rice noodle)The best one was curry tofu ramen noodle. The sea salt rice noodle was also good. The soybean sauce ramen was a bit bland. However, we did enjoy the food because we didn’t need to wait in line to be served especially when we were hungry.

“I love Takara in Medfield. The staff is wonderful. I eat here almost every week. Even during COVID, my family did take out weekly. This is my go-to restaurant. My wife takes me there as a reward!! The food is wonderful and well prepared. I think that I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. My favorite meal is the spicy tuna avocado salad! The rest of my family enjoys the sushi, sashimi, and various maki rolls which I always help them finish. Korean inspired food is a nice twist on typical sushi. Great place with great service. “I have been wanting some really good Pho since I moved here from NYC (I was quite spoiled there) and finally came across some that was on the same level as the incredible Pho I have had there. AAAA SOOOO GOOOOD yum we will definitely be back. The Pho literally gave us life. The place is as no frills as it gets but you know it’s going to be amazing when the dining room isn’t fancy. ? But I’m not complaining because that was beyond delicious.“

“This was the best place we decided to eat at in boston. My fiance and I, after just having finished visting the aquarium, were craving some asian food but didn't want to spend too much money and we found this on google maps. I decided on the tonkatsu ramen which was around $14 while my fiance got the wagyu don which was $14, we also shared some karaage. We were lucky enough to sit right infront of the chef and watch them make our food.

The karaage came out super fast and was super flavourful, juicy, AND crunchy. Not long after chef handed each of us our respective bowls. My tonkotsu broth was so rich and flavourful and my chashu slices were the softest and tastiest pieces ever, and Oh. My. God. THE RAMEN EGG was so good. My fiance's don was also so delicious, the beef was perfectly cut, the onion satisfyingly sweet, and his salted egg was gooey in the best way possible.

During our meal the chef spoke with us and was super funny, they obviously loved what they were doing. When my fiance asked for a to-go box chef grabbed his plate and put away his food themself and actually gave him so more onion and beef for the road.

I've read some low reviews of this place upon coming back home and it really feels like those reviewers went to a completely different restaurant, this place was the best. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The only thing this place lacked was the dozens of customers it should have had inside. 100% will be back!“

“Incredibly friendly and attentive service. The doors (there are two) are super heavy, and I couldn’t open it. Someone jumped right away to help.

I got the Japanese udon noodles and the miso soup. The soup was fishier than I remember miso being but it’s been a long time since I have had. It was hearty and hot and enjoyable.

The udon noodles were well-seasoned. The veggies were delicious. The chicken was a little fattier than I am used to but it was all yummy and the food came promptly after ordering.

My water was refilled as I drank and the check came just as I was finishing my meal, so very attentive but respectful service.

Would recommend.
