Chicken congee with Chinese fried dough was delicious, and packaged with care!
The food here is very delicious! Service is great and they’re super busy, even on a Thursday afternoon.
The congee is so silky and smooth. It was delicious! The steam roll was fabulous that we ordered an extra one to go. Scallion pancake was nice and crispy. The barley lemongrass lemonade was interesting. I wasn’t expecting actual barley to be in there but it was. I only drank the liquid as I’m not a fan of mushy textures. Yin Ji Chang Fen 銀記腸粉店 is a solid choice for Cantonese comfort food. The rice noodles are fresh and thin, though on the mushier side. The fried dough is crunchy and excellent with the rice soup, and the fried soy sauce noodles are crunchy and probably another good add in for the rice soup. The congee is so silky and smooth and delicious. The steam roll is fabulous, the scallion pancake is nice and crispy, and the cilantro and spring onion cheung fun is especially silky and fresh. The rice noodle with shrimp and pork is good and a great portion for under $8, and the special braised beef soup is a solid comfort dish. The tongue bread is a dense bread with minimal flavor. The barley lemongrass lemonade is interesting. Service is friendly, fast, and fantastic, with regular water refills and food arriving soon after ordering. The waitress is super nice. The ambiance is casual with modern decor, and seating is available for dining in, though limited seating. It is clean and bright. Street parking only. The place is super busy, even on a Thursday afternoon, and very quiet around 3pm on a Friday. It is a great place for congee and rice roll, with fabulous food and reasonable prices.
