Yama Reviews
Absolutely excellent sushi and bento boxes. Probably the best I've had in Massachusetts. I've been going for years. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is excellent as well and very quiet and easy to talk in. It's a hidden gem.
I ordered a few specialty rolls and a few regular rolls online. Everything was fresh and delicious, with generous pieces of fish in every roll. I chose pickup, and my order was ready in about 30 minutes. I was very happy with the quality and will definitely order again and visit the place in future!
Beef sukiyaki on the menu!! Sushi bar was busy. So next visit I will surely try sushi/sashimi! Yama restaurant is on the second floor so signage at street level is non existent.

Yama is a top choice for sushi lovers, offering excellent quality and a variety of options, including a large selection of sushi and Japanese dishes. While a bit pricey, the experience is worth it, especially since it's a BYOB establishment. The restaurant has a welcoming, brightly lit, and airy atmosphere with an authentic Japanese feel, including low tables where guests can remove their shoes. The friendly staff provides very good service, and the food is delicious, with options like the Bento + 6 salmon rolls or the Sushi Boat for large parties. The Uni (Sea Urchin) is a delicacy worth trying. Although the location is on the 2nd floor of a strange building and parking can be a challenge, the overall dining experience makes it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area.
