Creamy Tum Yum Noodle Soup: The Tum Yum soup broth was exactly authentic. It provided a strong taste of both tangy and spicy, exciting my taste buds and increasing my appetite. As for the ingredients, shrimps were fresh and bouncy, char-siu slices were crunchy but not greasy, while the lime added extra zing to the soup.
But to be frank, unfortunately I could still taste the gamey smell from the refrigerated pork, even though it had been that heavily seasoned.“

I have never been so satisfied during my lunch break when I sat down and was presented with an amazing appetizer of crab rangoon which was then followed by drunken noodles 🍝. I love Thai food but man this Thai food was better than usual. The price on the other hand was amazing for the quality it provides. Mae is well located in Cambridge so take your next lunch break here, you won’t be disappointed 😆.“

“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.“

The thai food here was SO good and SO affordable! Portions were really generous.

Overall it was very fast and attentive upon seating. However, the wait to be seated took quite a long time despite being 3rd in line, and when it said that our table was ready online, we still had to wait another 15 minutes. Totally understandable though since it was a Saturday night, just reflecting on personal experience.

. Loud, upbeat, and vibey. Interior is very aesthetic and in a tighter space, but super fun and a great place to grab dinner and chat with friends.

“Really good food and the waitresses are super cool and nice! The chef the waitress take a picture of how he does the spicy cucumbers (so good)! Everything I ordered was great, the lobster fried rice, salt & pepper wings & spicy cucumbers. Only thing I would suggest is more rice with the lobster fried rice. “Beautiful dining room. I ordered take out this evening using the Toast App. I mistakenly added a $500 tip instead of a $5 tip because the order went through too fast. I called and explained what happened. The manager called me right back and assured me that he would fix it before closing out. He was so kind, even though they were busy. The food was excellent and the waitress was so kind in packing one dish separately due to a peanut allergy. We will definitely be frequent flyers here.“

“The Grapefruit Salty Cream over Grape Green Tea ($7.25) was good and refreshing, though I am not sure if they use fruit juice or fresh fruits. The cream on top also just looked like whipped cream when I opened the cap, but it tasted fine.

I feel like I got coaxed into paying with cash because it was empty. I didn’t see any signs indoors or in the reviews about the supposed $10 minimum as there usually are. Thankfully, I had cash on me, but a heads up for anyone ordering inside.“

“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“

We had the mango sticky rice as dessert, amazing, I’d pay 10$ for that mango alone. Had brianna scrape the plate (very rare!!), see picture below.

“I got take out poke bowls and they were both really delicilious. I got my partner the ahi tuna bowl on salad. He said it was really tasty, but the salad was just big chunks of lettuce and not cut up quite right. That was the only negative remark. I got a build your own bowl with tofu and shrimp tempura with corn, seaweed salad, avocado, and edamame with spicy mayo. It was SO GOOD! The person behind the counter was so nice. I will absolutely be back often.
The inside might not look super fancy and what not, but it's worth the try.“

I'm not saying there feelings don't matter but I am struggling in this state, and can't cook at the moment so to get some "nutrients I ordered a pizza from here that would have garlic, parsley etc and I instantly felt better! The pizzas were so good. As someone who lost a lot of family, I'm not going to bicker about pizza. I thought it was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the medium size and it had lots of cheese. Didn’t think Downtown Boston needed another affordable Asian takeout place, but this one actually serves some of the best quick bites in the area. Despite being right next to the Commons, the sushi rolls are priced like grocery store sushi, but taste better & fresher. Most recently, I tried the chicken katsu curry, and it was really solid for the price. The curry leaned a bit watery, but they used chicken thigh for the katsu, which kept it tender and juicy without excess fat.

Given the number of students nearby, it gets busy during the semester. You can ask for your rolls to be made fresh, but even the pre-packed ones from the fridge were nearly as good. Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for something cheap, quick, and actually decent around Downtown.“

“Found taste house after work one night with my friends, not expecting anything to exceed our expectations but we found our new favorite spot! The scallion pancakes, beef and cabbage dumplings, vegetable dumplings and crab rangoons were some of the best and most fresh I’ve ever had. The drinks were exceptional (we had the lychee martini and a French martini). To top it off, the service was excellent, staff was super sweet and attentive. “My wife and I came in for the first time tonight and were blown away by the food. The Legendary Burger absolutely lives up to the hype. Perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, and easily one of the best burgers we’ve had in a long time. The General Lee’s Fried Chicken was also outstanding. Crispy, bold, and packed with flavor. The kitchen is clearly firing on all cylinders.

Amiel was our bartender and he was pleasant and professional. Service was straightforward and efficient, though we didn’t get much follow-up during the meal. That said, the food more than spoke for itself.

“My new go-to spot for late night Chinese food.

Saw these spots popping up around the GBA a couple of months ago. At first glance, I figured it was just another low-tier takeout-focused Chinese joint. But after catching one of their flyers, I decided to give it a shot.

The place seemed fairly new, and the cleanliness was definitely a step up from your average Chinese takeout spot. Their menu is a bit of a mash-up, featuring both Chinese dishes and sushi rolls, but I wasn’t quite ready to roll the dice on sushi from here. I stuck with the classics (Twice cooked pork, shumai, etc), and most things I tried were solid. Prices aren’t exactly a steal, but the portions are generous, and the staff have always been friendly.

Compared to the late-night spots in Chinatown that I used to go to, the real perk of Dumpling Garden is the hassle-free street parking. Sure, the ratings might not be high, but I would still recommend giving them a try.“

The chicken pad Thai, seafood drunken noodles, red curry, and so many things are UNMATCHED. The service is always quick and extremely friendly.
