We came across a restaurant called The Dumpling Garden in Saugus, and we went there to try their food. It was the best experience we’ve had so far. Creamy Tum Yum Noodle Soup: The Tum Yum soup broth was exactly authentic. It provided a strong taste of both tangy and spicy, exciting my taste buds and increasing my appetite. As for the ingredients, shrimps were fresh and bouncy, char-siu slices were crunchy but not greasy, while the lime added extra zing to the soup.
But to be frank, unfortunately I could still taste the gamey smell from the refrigerated pork, even though it had been that heavily seasoned.“

“I think the recent negative review must've been a bot / AI (maybe some jealously going on there). Either way- Darling is an incredible bar with great product and friendly service. I would not be surprised to see them win some major awards next year. As a new establishment, Darling is absolutely crushing it and I am so happy to welcome them in Central Square. Cocktails are refined, balanced and interesting. Clarification techniques assure everything is smooth and refreshing. The enoki bao are things of dreams. “My family had a wonderful dinner at Mae’s last night. The service was efficient, attentive without being obtrusive and warm. The food was excellent, flavorful, balanced, light. We had number of dishes…pork gyoza (we went back for 2nds on this one), spring rolls, basil fried rice (nice spice level…maybe a little more oil than needed), ma po tofu, general Tso’s Thai chicken, and pad Thai (the star of the show). The mocktails were fresh and complex. Will be back. Oh we made a reservation. Highly recommend doing so.“

“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.“

“Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!“

“I got take out poke bowls and they were both really delicilious. I got my partner the ahi tuna bowl on salad. He said it was really tasty, but the salad was just big chunks of lettuce and not cut up quite right. That was the only negative remark. I got a build your own bowl with tofu and shrimp tempura with corn, seaweed salad, avocado, and edamame with spicy mayo. It was SO GOOD! The person behind the counter was so nice. I will absolutely be back often.

“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“

We had the mango sticky rice as dessert, amazing, I’d pay 10$ for that mango alone. Had brianna scrape the plate (very rare!!), see picture below.

“Very fresh ingredients. Grab and go sushi plus freshly made sushi. Crispy, refreshing Moshi sparkling Yuzu. Decent portion for a reasonable price. Friendly and accommodating staff. All utensils neatly provided. Outlets at tables for convenient phone/device charging. Plentiful poke bowls too. 10/10. Go there.“

“One of the few newer spots in Brookline Village that seems like it's going to be a great lunch option. There are a few bar stools and a counter but more of a grab and go style. We took ours to the picnic tables across the street in front of the library.

-Bulgolgi Steak Burg with House Fries

The staff was very polite and was able to make recommendations to our taste. The food took about 10 minutes to prepare and tasted fresh.

We really enjoyed the seasoning on the house fries and are excited to come back and try the bowl versions as the flavors were great on both burgs.“

“We were in the area after a late flight and Dumpling Garden was one of the only restaurants that was open after 10pm. We had low expectations, but were pleasantly surprised to receive very tasty meals with generous portions! Honestly the best thing we ate on our trip and very grateful for their late hours. “My wife and I came in for the first time tonight and were blown away by the food. The Legendary Burger absolutely lives up to the hype. Perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, and easily one of the best burgers we’ve had in a long time. The General Lee’s Fried Chicken was also outstanding. Crispy, bold, and packed with flavor. The kitchen is clearly firing on all cylinders.

Amiel was our bartender and he was pleasant and professional. Service was straightforward and efficient, though we didn’t get much follow-up during the meal. That said, the food more than spoke for itself.

“My new go-to spot for late night Chinese food.

Saw these spots popping up around the GBA a couple of months ago. At first glance, I figured it was just another low-tier takeout-focused Chinese joint. But after catching one of their flyers, I decided to give it a shot.

The place seemed fairly new, and the cleanliness was definitely a step up from your average Chinese takeout spot. Their menu is a bit of a mash-up, featuring both Chinese dishes and sushi rolls, but I wasn’t quite ready to roll the dice on sushi from here. I stuck with the classics (Twice cooked pork, shumai, etc), and most things I tried were solid. Prices aren’t exactly a steal, but the portions are generous, and the staff have always been friendly.

Compared to the late-night spots in Chinatown that I used to go to, the real perk of Dumpling Garden is the hassle-free street parking. Sure, the ratings might not be high, but I would still recommend giving them a try.“

Good portions for plates as well, could feed two or have multiple meals for one. Have eaten here several times. Give it a try. Good neighborhood restaurant. Ordering for New Year very organized and efficient. Pllan your order and can't go wrong. Latest meal simple and checked all the boxes. Moo goo gai pan, super fresh vegetables, good pieces of chicken and very tasty sauce. Vegetable Rice, they use darker soy sauce, a surprising change, not sticky, seperate grains and good amount of vegetables. Boneless ribs, properly cooked, soft texture not dry, good size pieces, and some crisp edges.“

The thai food here was SO good and SO affordable! Portions were really generous.

Overall it was very fast and attentive upon seating. However, the wait to be seated took quite a long time despite being 3rd in line, and when it said that our table was ready online, we still had to wait another 15 minutes. Totally understandable though since it was a Saturday night, just reflecting on personal experience.

. Loud, upbeat, and vibey. Interior is very aesthetic and in a tighter space, but super fun and a great place to grab dinner and chat with friends.

Overall, I highly recommend this spot if you are in the Cambridge area.“
