“Although this place no longer exists in the heart of Harvard Square, which was the mother location, sadly closed after the pandemic but two other locations have remained open one in Burlington and one in saugus. Always agree time and very accommodating to larger parties. Free chips and salsa and refills aren't necessarily something that every restaurant does anymore and if you're looking for a simple fun and tasty snack on meal this place is worth it. Fans of country music and blues music will love this place because they have been loyal to the music they've been playing over there sound system the last 30 some odd years. There's really no other Mexican / Cajun restaurant like the Border Cafe so if you ever on route 1 or find yourself in Burlington Mass or want to make the trip, if anything it's definitely a fun place to go.“

“Kowloon is an institution and am experience. It's massive. Many dining rooms. Food is very solid -- comes out fast, hot, fresh and generous portions. Get a table in the room with fountains if you can instead of the rooms with loud piped in pop music.“

Ramen is delicious, I didnt ask for chili oil as broth was sufficient alone.

Ordered one sushi and it was one roll but loosely wrapped in seaweed.

Service is quick, I would be surprised if anything takes more than 10 mins.

“Im writing this review a couple years after dining here. I had the short rib curry and it was fantastic. It unfortunately isn't on the menu anymore. But I see the owner has a sister restaurant, chayen in watertown, that still serves it.

It was an unctuous red curry base with great fragrance from lime leaves. The dish also turned me into a fan of peas.“

“Fig is the best! Their takeout window basically got me through the pandemic, and I feel very lucky that this is my local. As a certified scone-hater, their blueberry scone is the best I've ever had. “It is not my practice to be critical and write a negative review, but I was enjoying my evening until we were asked to vacate our table after being there for only an hour and 40 minutes. My reservation was at 6 PM and at 7:38 we were told that we need to leave the restaurant. This definitely has left me with a very bad experience. I recall a time during Covid when there was a limit on a reservation, and that was quite acceptable but on a Wednesday night in October 2026 I was quite shocked when we were told it was time for us to leave, especially when I noticed some empty tables around us. Very disappointed“

A must order is the Tuna Collar - I've never had anything like it - it's huge, great for a crowd, bone-suckingly good (literally have done that) served with rice and nori! Also make sure you don't miss Tracy Chang's homemade nonalcoholic sparking teas - my favorites are the genmaicha and the hojicha - again I've never tasted a drink like this anywhere else. And then you have to end the night with a Basque Cheesecake - I particularly love when Pagu makes a seasonal Matcha or Ube Basque cheesecake! Pagu's dishes and drinks are across the board innovative but also welcoming and absolutely delicious!“

“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back“

“This place is superb. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, VERY SUBSTANTIAL (one bowl will feed 3!) and a delight. The owner welcomed us with grace and kindness and told us that if it wasn't to our liking, he would make it right. We were gifted Rice Pudding (the cinnamon....oy vey!) and Baklava.
