“Last night I had the pleasure of visiting Volo Craft Pizza in Swampscott, MA — and wow, what an experience! 🌊🍕 The ambiance right by the water is beautiful, with Boston’s skyline in the distance, and the service made us feel right at home. Owners Pina and Tony are so warm and personable — it truly feels like family when you’re there. Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Having grown up with New York City parents (and with my own background working in a pizza restaurant), I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was next-level. Their Detroit-style Double Trouble pizza with hot honey was out of this world. 🍯🔥 The Caesar salad with fresh-grated cheese was crisp and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the cannolis with chocolate chips and lemon — pure heaven. 🍋🍫 I’d happily drive 35 minutes any day for this. The pizzas are clearly made with love, and I can’t wait to bring my parents back to try it. If you’re anywhere near the North Shore (or even if you’re not) — do yourself a favor and try Volo. “Im writing this review a couple years after dining here. I had the short rib curry and it was fantastic. It unfortunately isn't on the menu anymore. But I see the owner has a sister restaurant, chayen in watertown, that still serves it.

It was an unctuous red curry base with great fragrance from lime leaves. The dish also turned me into a fan of peas.“

The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. “I have had the pleasure of dining at Trescas two times now and I will absolutely be back! As someone who has celiac disease and a wheat allergy I have serious trust issues when it comes to eating out. I had heard amazing things about Trescas and dreamed of going for years. Finally I went for the first time in March. Amazing atmosphere, even more amazing GLUTEN FREE food. I am talking THE BEST gluten free pasta I have ever had (they can make almost any pasta dish GF!!). The staff was extremely knowledgeable about my allergies and the chef even makes his was around the restaurant to check in with his patrons. Hands down top notch! I recently returned and had another FANTASTIC experience. I asked the chef what he would order from the menu if he were me, as a celiac, and he offered to make me a dish not even on the menu! I can’t even put to words what it means for someone who often doesn’t dine out due to allergy’s. Trescas makes it easy! And the service is 10 out of 10!“

Tried Pokeworks at Quincy Market in Boston and honestly wish I found this place sooner! The market itself was super crowded and a bit overstimulating on a Saturday night, and the location was slightly hard to find because it was packed with people — but that’s definitely more about Quincy Market being busy than the restaurant itself.

I did a collect order and highly recommend doing that because my food was ready straight away with no waiting around. The portions were EXTREMELY generous and definitely good value for money. I got the poke salad bowl with tuna and prawns and added literally every topping possible (which was great because there were so many included at no extra cost). Everything tasted fresh and filling, and I was seriously impressed by how much food I got.

update: Today we had the Greek cookies, almond butter cookies with powdered sugar and the orange cinnamon. Soooo good. The almond butter cookies melts in your mouth and the orange cinnamon has the just the right balance of orange and cinnamon.
The service is also still exceptionally good, always makes sure you have enough drink and everybody have what theu need.“
