“This was the best night out I’ve had with my husband in a long time. The food was spectacular- I suggest the mezze platter so you can try everything, and of course the koshari. We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! It’s no surprise that it’s hard to get a reservation.“

“TOURIST’S TAKE!!! ——-> I recently visited the Time Out Market in Boston and had a great overall experience, especially when comparing it to the Lisbon location. One of the first things that stood out was how much cleaner the Boston market felt. Even during busy hours, the seating areas and food stalls were well maintained, with staff regularly clearing tables and keeping the space tidy. It made the whole experience more comfortable and less chaotic than what I remember from Lisbon. Pricing was another pleasant surprise. While food halls can sometimes feel overpriced in tourist-heavy cities, Boston’s Time Out Market felt noticeably more affordable. Portions were reasonable for the price. The variety of options was also a positive note. There was a strong mix of local favorites and creative concepts. It’s a good place to bring a group! The atmosphere was also better as there was a Red Sox game that evening so there was definitely excitement in the market combined with live music made it an exciting place to be. Overall, I’d give the Boston Time Out Market four stars. It’s cleaner, more budget-friendly, and offers a more versatile food selection compared to the Lisbon location!“

“Normally I’m a traditional Pad Thai or Pad See Ew but I branched out to try the Panang Curry. It was SO GOOD! Definitely reccomend. My table got Pad Thai, Basil Rice and the See Ew and they thought it was great as well! Server was super accommodating and attentive.“

I was anticipating an amazing wagyu beef burger given the $35 price tag, but it was very ordinary and forgettable. It was cooked well-done even though I asked for medium-well, and it had absolutely no flavor, not even a hint of salt and pepper. The fries were dry and not very good either. But the corn bread was absolutely delightful and probably some of the best I’ve ever had, and the pita bread with hummus and pimento cheese was delicious, as well. Overall, about 4 stars considering the appetizers saved the day, as the wagyu burger was a flop.“

“This place is superb. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, VERY SUBSTANTIAL (one bowl will feed 3!) and a delight. The owner welcomed us with grace and kindness and told us that if it wasn't to our liking, he would make it right. We were gifted Rice Pudding (the cinnamon....oy vey!) and Baklava. Will be back every time I go to Mass General for treatment.“

“Run don't walk to Pagu for absolutely scrumptious food that weaves together Japanese and Spanish Basques Cuisines! A must order is the Tuna Collar - I've never had anything like it - it's huge, great for a crowd, bone-suckingly good (literally have done that) served with rice and nori! Also make sure you don't miss Tracy Chang's homemade nonalcoholic sparking teas - my favorites are the genmaicha and the hojicha - again I've never tasted a drink like this anywhere else. And then you have to end the night with a Basque Cheesecake - I particularly love when Pagu makes a seasonal Matcha or Ube Basque cheesecake! Pagu's dishes and drinks are across the board innovative but also welcoming and absolutely delicious!“

“We had the pleasure of dining at Tresca before seeing a show at TD. We had started our meal with the melanzana and calamari which were fried to perfection! The pork chop with the balsamic reduction and mashed sweet potato is a must have and if in the mood to splurge- the filet mignon with the lobster stuffed mushroom is a perfect entree. The food was excellent, however, the wonderful staff and Chef Rich really made the dining experience feel as if you were at a family member's home for supper! This is a must try in the North End!“

“Last night I had the pleasure of visiting Volo Craft Pizza in Swampscott, MA — and wow, what an experience! 🌊🍕 The ambiance right by the water is beautiful, with Boston’s skyline in the distance, and the service made us feel right at home. Owners Pina and Tony are so warm and personable — it truly feels like family when you’re there. Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Having grown up with New York City parents (and with my own background working in a pizza restaurant), I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was next-level. Their Detroit-style Double Trouble pizza with hot honey was out of this world. 🍯🔥 The Caesar salad with fresh-grated cheese was crisp and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the cannolis with chocolate chips and lemon — pure heaven. 🍋🍫 I’d happily drive 35 minutes any day for this. The pizzas are clearly made with love, and I can’t wait to bring my parents back to try it. If you’re anywhere near the North Shore (or even if you’re not) — do yourself a favor and try Volo.
