“We were a group of 8 adults. The calamari appetizer was very good, and the mozzarella was also delicious. Unfortunately, the seafood pasta was not good. The pasta was overcooked, and the sauce looked very pale and didn’t have much flavor.
They only had sparkling water in a large bottle, which was too much for just one person. Our total bill was around $280 for all 8 of us.
Our server, Enrique, was very polite and took great care of us, even though we stayed for about 3 hours. Great service from him!“

Whenever I come in early, the guy working is absolutely awesome. He is polite, fast, and handles the morning rush with a great attitude that you don't see very often these days. It makes a huge difference when you are greeted by someone who genuinely cares about doing a good job. The cafe is always clean, the food is fresh, and his outstanding customer service makes it my favorite spot for breakfast. Highly recommend stopping by in the morning“

The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. Owners Pina and Tony are so warm and personable — it truly feels like family when you’re there. Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Having grown up with New York City parents (and with my own background working in a pizza restaurant), I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was next-level. Their Detroit-style Double Trouble pizza with hot honey was out of this world. 🍯🔥 The Caesar salad with fresh-grated cheese was crisp and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the cannolis with chocolate chips and lemon — pure heaven. 🍋🍫 I’d happily drive 35 minutes any day for this. And the staff was amazing, TJ answered all my allergy questions with a smile, really helpful, and Olivia gave us gorgeous cups of ice cream that were perfectly scooped, not always the case when you get ice cream on a hot day, so thank you to you both 🥰❤️“

““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“Do not miss this spot if you are visiting Salem. We had treats from our Air B&B which caused us to go in person. Everything was lovely, delicious and fresh. Customer service was fantastic. We had croissants, a bagel sandwich, fresh bread, the most amazing cookies and, my favorite, the spinach and leek puff with everything seasoning. The coffee was great too. Thanks so much!“

For example, homemade sauce, great prices, and excellent options for dining alone or with the whole family. “Great Thai food and friendly service. Everything I’ve had from here is typically very good. I just got the Pad Thai (typically I go another path) it was soooo good. The noodles were unique almost like a sticky rice texture. Prices are slightly high but it’s because the portions are massive. I could have split it with someone but I’m fat so I ate the whole thing. Lovely owners who are always the ones cooking as well. So friendly and pleasant to deal with.“
