“We were a group of 8 adults. The calamari appetizer was very good, and the mozzarella was also delicious. Unfortunately, the seafood pasta was not good. The pasta was overcooked, and the sauce looked very pale and didn’t have much flavor.
They only had sparkling water in a large bottle, which was too much for just one person. Our total bill was around $280 for all 8 of us.
Our server, Enrique, was very polite and took great care of us, even though we stayed for about 3 hours. Great service from him!“

Whenever I come in early, the guy working is absolutely awesome. He is polite, fast, and handles the morning rush with a great attitude that you don't see very often these days. It makes a huge difference when you are greeted by someone who genuinely cares about doing a good job. The cafe is always clean, the food is fresh, and his outstanding customer service makes it my favorite spot for breakfast. Highly recommend stopping by in the morning“

“We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. “Last night I had the pleasure of visiting Volo Craft Pizza in Swampscott, MA — and wow, what an experience! 🌊🍕 The ambiance right by the water is beautiful, with Boston’s skyline in the distance, and the service made us feel right at home. Owners Pina and Tony are so warm and personable — it truly feels like family when you’re there. Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Having grown up with New York City parents (and with my own background working in a pizza restaurant), I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was next-level. Their Detroit-style Double Trouble pizza with hot honey was out of this world. 🍯🔥 The Caesar salad with fresh-grated cheese was crisp and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the cannolis with chocolate chips and lemon — pure heaven. 🍋🍫 I’d happily drive 35 minutes any day for this. “Their food never fails, always so good. Next time I'll order dessert first, because I always end up so full to get the dessert. That's how good their food there for me. Service is also good prompt and attentive to what customer might need.

update: Today we had the Greek cookies, almond butter cookies with powdered sugar and the orange cinnamon. Soooo good. The almond butter cookies melts in your mouth and the orange cinnamon has the just the right balance of orange and cinnamon.
The service is also still exceptionally good, always makes sure you have enough drink and everybody have what theu need.“

“Do not miss this spot if you are visiting Salem. We had treats from our Air B&B which caused us to go in person. Everything was lovely, delicious and fresh. Customer service was fantastic. We had croissants, a bagel sandwich, fresh bread, the most amazing cookies and, my favorite, the spinach and leek puff with everything seasoning. The coffee was great too. Thanks so much!“

“Great Thai food and friendly service. Everything I’ve had from here is typically very good. I just got the Pad Thai (typically I go another path) it was soooo good. The noodles were unique almost like a sticky rice texture. Prices are slightly high but it’s because the portions are massive. I could have split it with someone but I’m fat so I ate the whole thing. Lovely owners who are always the ones cooking as well. So friendly and pleasant to deal with.“

““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“The food was delicious here. The portion size was great! I forgot to take pictures but the food was so very good.

It was hard deciding between 5 Star and 4 Star. I wish we could give fraction of stars because while the food tasted great there are some things that keep it from a perfect 5 stars.

The meat and veggies and huge chunks in the curry so you have to spend time cutting them down to make the bites and the duck was a little dry, not much and the flavor was so good that it almost didn't matter.

So I really think this place deserves like a 4.8 or 4.9 stars. it's so close to just a pure amazing Thai place.“

“We are visiting from England and have been to Heart and Soul three times in the past week. Why? Yes, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good, but it's the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Bud, that has impressed us most. We have lived and travelled in many places around the world but rarely have we experienced an owner with such a wonderful attitude and such a welcome. It feels like visiting a friend when we come to Heart and Soul....a place that embodies the name of the cafe and an owner who clearly knows what hospitality means.“

“I've gone to A&B burger almost weekly with my friend as a get together for beer and their $5 burger after 8PM. They're phenomenal, the service is great, the price is awesome especially their late burger special. Also, the burger is a basic but delicious burger and you can't go wrong with it ever. “I had a great experience here! I will definitely go here again while on my trip in Massachusetts. I told my waitress Helina, I will be raving about this chicken I had. It was soo good!! I am glad she waited when I was taking my time to deciding.❤ So many good options to choose from.

When she came over, I was undecided. Which is very unluck me. I usually have an idea what I want. I went in thinking I was going to get tacos or nachos. But I was so happy I took my time to look over the menu. A hidden gem ❤❤ The pancakes was delicious 🤤.

A hidden gem because I only think of chicken and waffles. When I had THEIR PANCAKES 🤤 Don't get me wrong the chicken was full of flavor. The syrup, ranch, and pickles all together was heaven with it.

I love the walls! I love the music videos playing. I love the news having on other televisions. Even the other staff was all very friendly helping Helina. When the one gentleman got plates before her. I went to get a straw, and the one staff member read my lips. They were very on point on what goes around.

I didn't feel rush. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our food extremely after a long 6 hour trip. Thank you for serving us. We will be back and definitely telling others!

(And if you want just a cheeseburger come here. In NY a cheeseburger comes with everything. You have to ask for things not on it. My boyfriend was happy of just a cheeseburger on menu).“
