“The food at Oye Restaurant Bar & Grill was good for the most part, but could gave been more flavorful. We did enjoy the GF calamari and the sushi boat. The service was friendly and welcoming.
The only downside was the ambience. The lighting was much too dim for our liking, making the space feel a bit too gloomy, and the restaurant was quite empty when we visited, which affected the overall atmosphere. With brighter lighting and a livelier vibe, the dining experience would be even better.

“As someone who has had the privilege of dining at some extraordinary Chinese and Japanese restaurants around the world, from Hong Kong to Tokyo to Manhattan, I can say without hesitation that this is the finest Chinese and Japanese food in all of Massachusetts. The ingredients are exceptional, the preparation is thoughtful, and the consistency is remarkable. Restaurants like this are rare.

We even brought our chef Tracy here one evening. She’s worked in several Michelin-starred kitchens and spent years cooking in private estates and luxury hotels. And she was completely blown away. “We had the best Ramen in Japan and we were looking for something that would come close.
We found that place at Akita. The atmosphere and ambience reminded us of the small Ramen place in Kyoto. Loved the black garlic Ramen and Takoyaki. Will surely go to try other Ramen dishes.“

“I got take out at the Golden Ginger for the first time in years, the service was great and the food was all delicious and freshly made to order. I had stopped going there when I had started eating gluten free food, however, I just realized that they now have great gluten free options including my favorite, General Gau's chicken! Family members who don't eat gluten free loved the hot & sour soup, the spring rolls, the boneless honey ribs, and the beef and broccoli. I am definitely going to be going back to eat there as well as for take out. I highly recommend them!“

. Shengjian bao was juicy and fresh. So often you get dried out filling but not here. Beef chow fun was also a standout - the noodles were great and the beef pieces were big.

Orange chicken was good - actual charred orange peel in it.

Rangoons were triangle shape with a little crimp, which for me has a little too much filling, and seems like they use cilantro in their filling (not a cilantro person). Cooked well, just less my style.

Next time I want to go in person to try the xiao long bao, salt and pepper pork chop and all the other stuff that doesn’t travel as well. The menu looks great.“

“I love their pad Thai!! Ga grob is my favorite kind. It's a boneless piece of fried chicken sliced up and set on top of the pad Thai noodles. I get the peanut sauce to put over it. Their peanut sauce is also amazing!! Thick and creamy with a spicy kick. Pad Thai noodles delicious and sweet. Always packed up nice and neat. My food is always hot and they make it within 15 minutes. Place is always clean, plenty of parking and customs service is excellent. I would highly recommend that you try this place. You will not be disappointed.“

“We were fortunate to find John (Hibachi Cook) recently after learning his previous establishment closed. We've gone to him for over 26 yrs - 3 generations in my family. He is the best Hibachi cook, we've ever had; my daughter and granddaughter will ONLY have his cooking and wonderful personality. We came across a restaurant called The Dumpling Garden in Saugus, and we went there to try their food. It was the best experience we’ve had so far. I fully recommend it, and the staff there is very friendly. You should definitely go and try it!“
