“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.”

“My wife and I visited Anthony’s for our first meal after arriving in Boston. We ordered the square Margherita and my wife got a bowl of pasta fagioli for an appetizer. Our server, Taylor C, was attentive and nice while the food was excellent. Everything was perfect Italian food and I wish I could have transported a bowl of fresh pasta fagioli to my grandmother since she would have adored it. The perfect meal after a long day of driving.”

“Highly recommend Professor’s catering! Decided to have them make the food for a post wedding brunch I co-hosted in April. Best decision ever! Guests raved about the food! Then in June, I needed a last minute gluten free entree, and the team put together a beautifully garnished pan of gluten free roasted chicken that was delicious. Love their grab and go prepared foods case, too! 10 out of 10!”

It was literally the best pizza and wings and ice cream we’ve ever had! The people were so friendly and upbeat. The restaurant was so clean and very well managed. “Thank you! I tried your dairy free Black Raspberry Oreo, and it’s a game changer! Finally a dairy free ice cream that has the right consistency and tastes like actual ice cream. I was so excited that I could taste the black raspberry without any hint of almonds/sunbutter/coconut as is always the case at other places. Cal’s Creamery is the best! PS - my husband loved your baklava flavor!”

“Always have recommended for a normal ice cream day but after today, HIGHLY recommend even more for a catering gig! We did a make your own sundae bar for Teacher Appreciation Week and it was a huge hit(60)! Working with Joe to get everything ordered and organized was a piece of cake! He was so helpful with suggestions and always replying back so quickly. Liz delivered to our school and was so helpful, showing me how to use the warmer and even helping to unpack the ice creams into the freezer. Their sizes and prices are unbeatable compared to some local places around and my kids absolutely love all their flavors and my husband is a big fan of the banana bucket. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new place to try because if you haven't tried here, you have been missing out!”

“Still loving this place. There are new owners and they updated the decor inside, looks great. Customer service is still friendly and helpful with food questions. Today we tried the new soups, ginger noodle and vegetable soup with some crispy vegetable rolls. Sooooo good!! The broth for both soups is so fresh, it feels like I’m doing a good thing for my body having them. The taste is just right and not salty, I might have this weekly. And the veggie rolls are same as before just a little bigger. Love them, just the right crunch and they are not oily. Enjoy friends, I’m so glad we have a place like this in Reading.”

“We usually call and check to see if our favorite server Christine is working, but she had the night off. So I ask the hostess to recommend a server who was good. Well She suggested Ashley, who was absolutely amazing! Great personality, great service, never felt rushed, checked back to see how everything was !! To top it off for the very first time in all the years I have been coming here this is the very first time we had a very nice Manager come to our table and ask how everything was!!! His name was Mike. He was walking around checking with other tables, helping deliver food. I was so impressed!
