“Woke early this morning to get in a few bakery stops before my tart class later today … and @the.emporio.ma in Stoneham is the absolute star of my product research field trip! A completely adorable young-ish Italian baker (with a familiar familial accent😉) creates the most lovely and wonderfully tasting delicacies from her homeland where she was a baker in Turin. I highly recommend this off-the-beaten track little bakery that exudes the love of Italian cooking that I grew up with… smells divine! This bakery is located in Stoneham but I overheard her saying that she is looking for a larger place soon. Yay! I love seeing people with passion that produce excellent products do well! Brava!! Brava!! I’ll be back!”

“Excellent breakfast, have eaten at Java Grind and Grill more than a few times and every time the breakfast has been delicious and the coffee is even better. Service is great and the atmosphere very welcoming. Best kept secret in Stoneham, hope it lasts.”

“Colarusso’s has become by go-to bakery. When my family realized I stopped there for Easter treats, I was immediately asked if I brought the chocolate cream pie again (of course!). While waiting, I grabbed some pizzelle & a big milk chocolate egg that we always had when I was a kid at Grandma’s house on Easter. Seeing a sign for struffoli, I had to grab some. My grandmother may turn over in her grave for this, but OMG! They were amazing! And so much better than grandma made (sorry Grammy 😇). They were so light and airy, & were perfection. I’ve never had anything that wasn’t incredible & delicious.”

“To everyone complaining about prices… you have NO idea how expensive these animals are to maintain. They eat 1000s of dollars worth of food, supplements, and medications a month-each. Veterinarians are expensive. Vet care is expensive. Fencing and enclosure materials are expensive. Construction is expensive. I’m a wildlife biologist and I’ve volunteered and worked for and with many zoological facilities. Yes, this is smaller facility. Size doesn’t equate to excellence… believe me. Prices for everything are up… all materials, feed, enrichment needs etc… fuel, it’s all more expensive than it used to be.”

“I tried using the app and It wouldn't let me remove the mushrooms on the pizza they had here so i decided to come in and order. Paul helped us and he was awesome! I told him i had an allergy to mushrooms and he made sure there was none and we had a pleasant conversation while waitimg! 10/10 well done!!!”

“In six years living in the North Shore, our family has probably eaten here five times. We have enjoyed the food each time. Service is prompt and unobtrusive. Tonight we had Saag Paneer and Paneer Tikka Masala with garlic naan and chai. Fresh, warm naan is always tasty but at some restaurants as it cools it becomes doughy and tasteless. At Rang, the naan is good hot or cool. The curries were tasty and the medium spiciness was just right. The samosas had lots of stuffing, and the wrap was not oily (an issue at many).”
