“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

“Got takeout from Cajun Corner twice and they're excellent! The amount of seafood is a great deal and deliciously seasoned. Second highest spice level is my favorite balance of flavor and heat (I like spicy). Next time I'm getting a side of rice to soak up more of that tasty sauce!“

Colin truly blew us away with his table charm, mastery of the menu and making you feel at ease at a high end restaurant. We didn’t indulge in the cavier or the truffles that were with shaved tableside with white gloves but there’s always next time 🤣 The icing on the cake was meeting Izzy. He wasn’t our server but always came by to check on us with a smile and I had to ask him to stop calling me sir and he apologized and said thats how he was raised. This establishment employs the best of the best and it shows in the overall experience. 10/10 would recommend.“

“I have been going to Grassfields for many years and have been very pleased. The past few times I have been there I ordered the broiled scallops and have been disappointed. The muscle on the scallops are not removed which are very tough to eat. Also I feel they are gritty. I am hoping that someone reads this and corrects the issue because Grassfields is a lovely place.“

I worked there back in the 80’s, and this is the next best thing to fresh off the boat, these guys know all the local fishermen and we supplied and sold more seafood than anywhere because it’s always fresh. “Gracie at the bar made my night. After a long days work I wanted nothing more than a couple old-fashioned and a great steak. And that is what I got. The steak was cooked to perfection, the lobster tails, incredible, and those garlic mashed potatoes are decadent. Truly are one of a kind meal thank you so much. Love that butter, old-fashioned too, that’s a special drink.“

As you can see Mikey himself packed them up beautifully and the handled the plane ride perfectly! My next post will let you know how they taste.
