Absolutely wonderful experience with Chef Mike Monaco at Akame Nigiri. Totally humble sushi master who has the in depth knowledge of fish crucial to being a top tier sushi guy. My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary and it was exactly what we wanted— world class omakase but humble low key and very comfortable.
Chef Mike makes you feel at home with a buddy who just happens to deliver the tastiest morsels! We will be back, thanks again!!
Single best Omakase I've had. Every bite was packed with sublime and balanced flavors. Chef is a true artist and even made last minute diet accomodations. Quiet spot in our hometown but would have traveled hours for this.
Solid omakase for the price, everything tasted fresh and well executed. Not the most creative menu but the quality is definitely there. Good option if you want a satisfying omakase without overspending.
