everything wonderful service food atmosphere
I ordered the cheeseburger and it was absolutely delicious! Apparently it isn’t just seafood this place does right!
Really nice atmosphere, super child friendly (we came on Sunday and there were balloon animals, paper tablecloth that they can draw on). There's a child prix fixe what was reasonable and ended with ice cream sundae. For adults, there's the reasonable and yummy oysters, pretty good lobster roll, and delicious clam chowder. Overall, really fun and relaxing meal with kids when the adults are craving some decent seafood.

Summer Shack is a well-known restaurant renowned for its delectable seafood dishes, particularly the highly praised lobster roll and lobster bake. The restaurant offers great value with $2 oysters available all day, every day. Customers praise the restaurant's suitability for various occasions, making it a versatile dining destination.
The restaurant is praised for its high-quality seafood, oysters, and lively atmosphere. While it may be considered a bit pricey, the freshness and quality of the seafood are exceptional. The restaurant's location, within walking distance of Alewife station, adds to its convenience.
The menu features a variety of New England-inspired seafood dishes, including crab cakes and steamed and baked lobsters, which are described as unbelievably scrumptious. The restaurant's team, including Vanessa, Marisa, and Jerry, are praised for their attentive service.
While some customers have found the decor confusing, with remnants of the AkuAku, the overall dining experience is described as satisfactory, with tasty food, though it may not be considered amazing by all. The restaurant's high prices are noted, but the quality of the seafood is acknowledged.
