“Kyle was so lovely!!! We came in for our friends birthday just for a drink and some oysters and he overheard us talking and brought us free dressed oysters!!! And he took into account that our friend was pescatarian so he removed the bacon on them. So attentive we never even asked. The swordfish pastrami was so so so good and very shareable. The oysters were fresh and the oceanic was able to be made for 3!“

But speaking of backs, none of the seats have them -- those of us with back problems can't sit comfortably for long. Hence the three stars instead of five on atmosphere.“

“The mushroom stir fry and duck breaks skewers were excellent and very nicely presented! The stir fry has just the right amount of smokey taste and great balance with the sweet pineapple bits. Lovely drinks too and that's to say nothing of the decour inside, which also set a high bar.“

They give you the check in a Copy of the Constitution! Recommend but why are you not accessible! Such a contradiction of your stated philosophy. “Whenever we are in the mood for more American style fare, we think why go anywhere other than The Abbey because the food is always reliably delicious. Take a grilled chicken sandwich: omnipresent on local menus, yet only The Abbey makes this a moist and delicious generous meal every time. Love their truffle fries, and whatever creative daily listing they have. I have made fans of visitors as well. A local treasure.“

“Had an absolute incredible meal - beats any pasta I've had the the north end! You can tell it's freshly hand-made with such flavorful sauces. To find a place stracciatella so locally!We had the stuffed farfalle and the trottole and both were so so good.

“Family had dinner at Stoked in Cohasset last weekend….what a great meal! Pizzas were SO delicious, as were the Greek and Caesar salads. House wines were really good. Children loved their meals too. Our server was terrific, fun and attentive. An overall perfect experience…casual and delicious!! It was a little quiet when we went, but it was early. “I recently celebrated my birthday at Gato Exotico and had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Santi, was incredibly attentive. As a customer with allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame, I was extremely impressed to see how cognizant he was about ensuring that I had a safe experience, both through helping me navigate the menu and through making sure to communicate my allergies to the kitchen. Additionally, the food was delicious! I highly recommend the vegan tempeh al pastor tacos: such a vibrant combination of flavors!“

“This restaurant is dope. The interior is warm and inviting. It’s modern and chic. Definitely an elevated hipster vibe. A chill spot to hang out after work or nice date night. The food is bomb! For apps, I’ve never had a Chinese-inspired arancini. These crispy delights are addicting with their crack sauce. The sauce is a must have on the arancini. The salad is light and refreshing. The Kokoda is a well made dish. I never had blue fin tuna until I came here. The combo with the fresh fish with the acidity from the lemon juice and smooth finish of coconut sauce - oof, worth a try. There’s also another surprise about the Kokoda - there’s something called sea grapes 🍇 and were bursting of flavor and freshness. A nice addition to the dish. I could go for seconds with the Kokoda because it’s a bit small for me. I wish they made it 2x bigger so it could be more shareable with a date or with company. The Maine Uni was surprisingly delicious 😋. I honestly thought it was too expensive but after having it, it was an amazing amuse bouche (the perfect bite). I couldn’t believe that small bite packed so much flavor and complexity. It was balanced and left me feeling happy. Totally worth it. For mains, the pork belly adobo melts in your mouth. So good! The mushroom raviolis are my favorite out of this menu. The salted duck egg sauce is what makes this dish memorable. I would definitely eat this again. The bitter melon ratatouille is not my favorite because it wasn’t seasoned enough for me. It felt as though it was missing salt. The veggies were perfectly roasted though, but it didn’t quite smack like the other dishes. The ribeye is good, but not my favorite. I might be biased because I’ve had better at other places. For desserts, the pandan sorbet is tasty. I’m not a fan of the pandan taste. It’s definitely an acquired taste, but I enjoyed it because I love avocados and bananas and in ice cream form? No brainer. I wished they had a version without the pandan flavoring. I’m curious as to how it would taste then. The matcha cheesecake is surprisingly well-balanced. Not too matcha where it’s overbearing. The matcha is subtle while the richness of the cheesecake smacks just right and not overly sugary. The late night menu - I only tried the Chicharrón taco 🌮. The combo of crispy pork belly and the acidity from the lime is perf. Nothing else to say. Surprisingly really filling. I probably can’t have more than 2 of these tacos and I’m a pretty big guy. The drinks - I love the names and how they have a play on words. The blood orange and the banana espresso are my favorite. These drinks have enough booze and not too much where it’s offensive. Blood orange is enjoyable to drink and the banana espresso is complex with a chocolate finish. Their nice, clean cocktails. Service was awesome! The servers were friendly and quick. They regularly checked in with my wife and me. I don’t think I even had to do the awkward “please help us” lean at all. They were there when you needed them! Amazing 5 star service! You want a culinary experience. This place won’t disappoint.“

“Went there last night after daughter's graduation with her boyfriend's family and her other friends. The bar was loud and very busy as expected but the servers and hosts were kind enough to accommodate us. But it was one particular bartender of Asian origin (I am an Asian myself) who was flustered the entire time we were there and we were not even ordering from her. It was a different bartender who was nice. And when I wanted to close the tab, she asked me something I couldn't hear and when I asked her again, she snapped so viciously, I was aghast. That was beyond rude and more like a criminal behavior towards a patron. I didn’t escalate it and left quickly but this perhaps is a repeat behavior from her and her attitude didn’t seem new. I hope the management/owners take notice of this. The way she behaved and looked flustered the entire time warrants termination, no less. This has nothing to do with the pub, the servers and bartender there are nice, except that one person who shouldn't have been employed.“

“So delicious and the best Ive had in the Cambridge/ North End/ Seaport area. The margarita was clean and fresh, the food had all the flavors you want and the tacos came with beans and rice (other places in the area, its three tacos ONLY on the plate and rice & beans are extra). Coming from Arizona & Texas for the majority of my adult life, this is the only place I will go now in the future.
I ate at the bar the few times I went and appreciated the service and friendliness of the staff.“

“My husband and I went to Lone Star Taco Bar for the first time tonight. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient! Our waiter answered all our questions and took great care of me with my food allergies! I felt totally safe!! The food was packed with so much flavor and everything just melts in your mouth! The guacamole was literally the best I’ve ever had in my life and the tacos were flavorful and fresh!! We wanted to try one of everything so we will definitely be back. The ambiance is welcoming and I loved the decor. 10/10 stars!!“

“Los Sugar Kings were fantastic, and the atmosphere at Lou’s was excellent. The music and overall vibe honestly made up for most of the experience, and I would definitely come back.

Unfortunately, our service from Nicole was the weak point of the night. She repeatedly checked in every few minutes asking if we were ready to order, which started to feel pushy rather than attentive. Later, she dropped off the check and, when she came back and saw that I hadn’t put my card down yet, she visibly expressed frustration.

It was only around 9 PM and the night was still getting started, so there really didn’t seem to be any need to make us feel rushed. Instead of being able to relax and enjoy the evening, I found myself feeling anxious, like I needed to hurry so our server wouldn’t get annoyed.

That aside, Los Sugar Kings were great and the atmosphere was excellent, which is why I’m still giving Lou’s four stars.“

“Vegan fried rice and crispy tofu done right! I mentioned to the server Andy that this was some of the best fried rice, but he thought I was glazing... I wrote this recommendation to show my appreciation. I give the Shaolin Fried Rice a little more than four stars because the portion was sizeable and the tofu was crispy. It was the right amount of tofu an extra five dollars with edamame but the dish needed more beet slices. I ordered some hot green tea that never made it to the table; thus, the reason for the three stars for service. Andy, our waiter, was pleasant and the only server in the restaurant serving several customers. It was my first time in Cambridge. If you are near MIT, check out SHOJO; the food and vibe were great!“

“We were a group of 5 and our waiter did a great job. I ordered the salmon and it, and the two sides, were delicious. The menu noted the gluten sensitive items which was helpful. The noise level was a bit high but not too bad. Because of road closures in the area, it was a bit difficult to park and get to the restaurant. But it was worth the trouble.“

“Honestly a really nice place. The food was good I just didn’t think it was that special! The service was great! I do hate when a tip is automatically added but we were 4 adults and 2 kids so understandable! The guacamole was not anything special! The Mexican corn was pretty good! We had a margarita pitcher and I will say they were generous with the tequila which was great!
