“The food quality is a bit inconsistent from day to day. Occasionally, it seems like they use ingredients that are below the usual standard—sometimes to the point where the food is barely enjoyable. As I mentioned, there can be quite a bit of variation.

That said, I'd say the food is consistent about 80% of the time and generally tastes good. For that reason, I'm giving the restaurant 4 stars overall—but the dan dan noodles deserve 5 stars. Again, there can be quite a bit of up and down.“

My food was great, I went to Poe-lenta and my husband got the wood-fired pizza from the pizza location!“

“We had an amazing experience! This is one of the best and most special kosher restaurant we have ever been to!! What a unique and special place. We had the cochin white fish, fried fish, and salmon pkaila. We also had the pickles, two great cocktails, and the napoleonka. Everything was unbelievably delicious. They have fabulous flavors and creativity and we loved how all of the dishes had explanations and connections to Jewish tradition. Our service was also excellent! Mike the server explained everything clearly and was very conscientious about allergies. My one complaint would be that portions of the appetizers could have been a little larger because I wanted more!“

“We were in town visiting Harvard and decided to try out Sloane’s for dinner. What a great decision! We loved EVERYTHING! The food is amazing, service is great and the atmosphere is very chill. We loved it so much we came again our second night in town. I didn’t see one item on the menu that I wouldn’t devour. Our party had the fish and chips, pork sandwich (my fav), sweet potato and chic pea sandwich, Mac and cheese pot roast and the choco taco. I cannot recommend this place more!!“

The food was amazing! We had the Curry Goat patty (SO good) the oxtail pasta, jerk chicken and regular fried wings.

“It is not my practice to be critical and write a negative review, but I was enjoying my evening until we were asked to vacate our table after being there for only an hour and 40 minutes. My reservation was at 6 PM and at 7:38 we were told that we need to leave the restaurant. This definitely has left me with a very bad experience. I recall a time during Covid when there was a limit on a reservation, and that was quite acceptable but on a Wednesday night in October 2026 I was quite shocked when we were told it was time for us to leave, especially when I noticed some empty tables around us. Very disappointed“

Tall Order: The same drink as the shop's name, a very beautiful one, like a crystal-clear sprite in the dark. It has the clean and mild sweetness of a three-star Presson rum, the bright acidity of a ten-year Madeira, and the crispness of pineapple peel and lime—overall very refreshing. It also has clarified coconut milk added, but the effect is rather subtle.“

I got a half-liter Paulaner, that unfortunately was served warm, hence the four stars. For food, we tried the tuna tostados; the portion was surprisingly small, and a bit disappoiting.

“A treasure of a restaurant on busy Cambridge St - walk through the door and you’re in a different world. Servers quickly become friends. “We were a family of three visiting Boston and after reading through the multitude of choices of restaurants and reviews, Clink was on my list to get reservations. This restaurant is in the Liberty Hotel, which if you've been to NYC it has the same vibe as the Roxy Hotel and the Beekman. I made reservations for a Saturday night at 7:15 and when we arrived the restaurant only had a few other couples there dining. I'll address this more at the end. Our server recommended a few choices of cocktails. My husband chose the Barrel Aged Old Fashioned and I chose the Crime of Passion. Both were excellent!! Both cocktails were by far the best we had the entire trip, and we had a cocktail or two at dinner each night during our five-night stay. Hats of to the bartender making those!! Although we really didn't see an appetizer that we could agree on we were served some outstanding rolls and butter. I'm not a big bread fan, but these were hot, soft, and had a great flavor. For our dinners I chose the Crispy Skin Farm Raised Salmon, my husband chose the Hand Cut Pasta Bolognese, and our son chose the Gulf of Maine Blue Cod. We all agreed each dish was prepared and presented perfectly and all three had wonderful flavors with no complaints. We didn't think we had room for dessert until we were told the options and one option was Peach Bread Pudding!! We found room for dessert and in hindsight wish we asked for one to go for the next day. It's a must try!! The atmosphere was great, the service was great (and the manager was walking around making sure everyone was enjoying themselves), the cocktails amazing, and the dinner and dessert was wonderful, so this left us asking "why is this place not packed on a Saturday night"? The only hiccup was when you walked into the hotel lobby it felt like they were having air conditioning problems, but the restaurant was not having that issue. So hopefully this was just some weird off night for this restaurant and hopefully more people have a wonderful experience like we did and leave great reviews. I know that if we come back to Boston, Clink is on our list to dine at again.“

“My husband and I stopped by here for after dinner drinks and had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar. The bartender Juan was knowledgeable and let us try a variety of port and Maideria wines. It was a great experience and we felt like we were in a wine tasting in Portugal. He was very attentive and made the experience phenomenal. The ambiance was also very nice. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone in the area and don’t sleep on the Port wine!“

It’s a very intimate experience and the drinks take a while to come out but with the amount of time and effort they’ve put into concocting them it’s understandable. Food was decent I wouldn’t rant and rave about anything in particular it wasn’t bad that’s for sure just not standing out as much as the drinks do!“
