“We had an amazing experience! This is one of the best and most special kosher restaurant we have ever been to!! What a unique and special place. We had the cochin white fish, fried fish, and salmon pkaila. We also had the pickles, two great cocktails, and the napoleonka. Everything was unbelievably delicious. They have fabulous flavors and creativity and we loved how all of the dishes had explanations and connections to Jewish tradition. Our service was also excellent! Mike the server explained everything clearly and was very conscientious about allergies. My one complaint would be that portions of the appetizers could have been a little larger because I wanted more!“

Tall Order: The same drink as the shop's name, a very beautiful one, like a crystal-clear sprite in the dark. It has the clean and mild sweetness of a three-star Presson rum, the bright acidity of a ten-year Madeira, and the crispness of pineapple peel and lime—overall very refreshing. It also has clarified coconut milk added, but the effect is rather subtle.“

“Had dinner here last week and my husband and I agreed its the best meal we've had in Boston in awhile. The food was delicious and flavorful without being heavy or unnecesarily complex. We especially loved the cauliflower/almond soup. The oysters with cherry salsa were another favorite. The mocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere struck just the right balance for us - excellent food and a well designed space, but not formal or stuffy. This feels like an elusive find in Boston. We're thrilled to add Liars to our short list of restaurants that fit that bill and can't wait to get back!“

“We came here for dinner. Service was good. Staff was helpful and friendly. We tried the Birria Taco, Fish Taco, Shrimp Taco, pork taco, Nachos steak fried, Pupuas and Churros. The Birria taco was juicy and tender. Pupuas was cheesy and delicious. We also tried some tequila and margaritas. Everything was great. Would come back“

Host was friendly and another server named Dimas who wasn’t our server ended up making us feel very welcome. the bartender might’ve had an off day maybe but the bar back was kind. if we were to visit again it would be to see Dimas. We got the Mongolian beef, I didn’t read the description but I didn’t expect it to be fried steak. The dandan noodles were okay. The ribs were awesome, and the fried rice as well as the chicken wings were bomb! Yummy! If around I would stop by and ask for Dimas not sure if I spelled his name right“

“This is my go to every time I visit my family in Boston. The jumbo shrimp cocktail is the best!!! Love the steak tips salad and the service is wonderful. Got appetizer, meal , drinks and takeout dessert. Worth every penny! Stayed at hotel in Medford not too far away. You can get here from the orange line Assembly square stop.“
