This time around the first floor was a bit too cold but if you’re seated on the lower level you should have a more comfortable stay. In general a great place to have drinks and food after work or school, especially if you go for their Mucho Monday promo!

“Decent Mexican place in Kendall Square.Mexcito has always piqued my curiosity, but its food-truck-like aesthetic and negative reviews had kept me at bay. Finally giving it a try, I was pleasantly surprised to find that their food was better than I expected.I started with the Pollo Asado taco, featuring marinated grilled chicken thigh accented by Cotija chipotle mayo, pico de gallo, and shaved lettuce. While a bit on the pricier side for a taco, the quality of the ingredients and flavors somewhat justified the cost.The Carne Asada Bowl was a mixed bag. Despite its rather dry carne asada, the bowl was replete with a variety of fresh and vibrant components—Mexican red rice, black beans, pickled red cabbage, avocado aioli, and charred corn, among others. It tasted like something you'd find in a salad bar, but with a Mexican twist.Overall, while Mexcito may not offer the most authentic or awe-inspiring Mexican cuisine, it's a serviceable choice for a quick, satisfying, and relatively healthy meal.“

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“We have loved Orale since they opened in 2020! We came here for our anniversary dinner and love the ambiance. The decor inside is so bright and fun, especially this time of year with Día de Los Muertos so close. We ordered tostones con guacamole, birria taco Jalisco style, and a pork torta. Drinks were amazing and the servers were very kind. I highly recommend for a fun dinner with friends or family!“

“This is an unpretentious small Mexican food restaurant. It is decorated by three self-portraits of Frida kahlo and has metal chairs at small tables. You go to the counter for service. And order from an extensive menu and then they bring it to your table. The plates are fairly traditional and they were good. Nice portions. I had three pork Verde enchiladas and I found them to be really quite good.“

“This place is delicious! Unlike some taco places which have the same toppings, but just switch out the meat, Naco Taco has different flavor profiles for the different tacos you order! Would recommend trying all of them. My favorite is the fish and shrimp.
Wait staff are friendly too. Happy that Naco Taco gives such a good taco option in Central Square.“

“Ana taqueria has numerous locations around Boston. However, this one in Somerville is far better than the others. Truthfully, they follow the same recipes for the food, but the people are more joyful, caring to serve, and to engage with the customers. The food is also immaculately flavorful, I always get the mexican bowl with chicken Chipotle,guacamole,pico de callo,jalapeños,corn,lettuce and some vegetables.

“Enjoyed a meal with friends at Mestizo. Food, drinks, and service were excellent. Loved the salsa experience as the salsa was different than the average you would get on the table and full of delicious tomatoes and roasted garlic. Our favorites were the enchiladas, tuetano, carnitas, and salmon con mole verde. Their bar program is fantastic. Recommend going when DJ Lee is there.“

“I’ve only been once so I can’t speak for all the options, but the Steak Fajita Quesadilla was very good. I did have trouble finding the place because I was looking for a stand alone location. I finally gave up and decided to just go to Veggie Grill and there they were. But that’s only my own fault for not knowing what I was doing.“

“Our experience was really good. Delicious food and really good service. The restaurant was empty at the time we went, surprisingly for a Sunday noon. All of the ingredients were fresh cooked and the plate presentation was really good. There is pay by plate parking available adjacent to the restaurant which makes it convenient.“
