“Excellent food, service and welcoming space! This was probably our 5th time eating at Condesa and it is consistent. Plenty of free garage parking. Greeted warmly, seated quickly in a buzzing atmosphere with nice decor. There's a bar, high tops, booths and tables by the windows. We've had Diego A. as our server multiple times and he is fabulous! Plenty of cocktails or beer to choose from - excellent margarita's btw. The food is delish - nice menu of options and if you have a question or special food requirement, it's not a problem at all. Very reasonably priced too. It's definately part of our restaurant rotation when we want a nice dining experience and terrific food. Kudos to the entire management and staff!“

“The cheese dip was smooth and spicy. The chicken tamales were authentic tasting but a little heavy on the Masa to chicken ratio. All of it was satisfying and very filling. I would also recommend the aroz con pollo as being flavorful and satisfying. Overall, a pleasure to dine here. There's no longer an attempt to classify menu items as 'gluten-free' or not, but my wife had the tortilla soup with no I'll effects, so there's one.
Compared to other Mexican restaurants, your food is delivered reasonably quickly. I can't say that for most other places and the quality is always consistantly good and satisfying.“

“I saw the massive amount of negative reviews on this Chiptole and decided to check it out myself. Granted, I did go at 10pm, my experience was better than the majority. Portions were as expected and surprisingly fresh which was a pro. I expected less since the place was dead and it was late, but I was happy with the quality. After thoroughly expecting, this was a solid spot. Price was about $15 for a chicken al pastor bowl and small drink. Would come back, ignore the haters“

“The Taco’s are unreal here. My wife and I showed up at dinner having eaten a big lunch. We both said we’ll just grab something quick and small. 8 tacos and and two Spicy Margaritas later we were in love with this place. Great service and fair prices.“

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“I just had the hottest meal I’ve ever had. The waiter said “That is very very spicy”…I told him to say “very” three times to warn customers. The meal was AWESOME!!! Thank you 👍“

“The best Mexican in a hundred-mile radius. The tacos are my favorite, and the team is friendly and professional. The setting fits the street-taco character, but definitely try the plates, tortas, and burritos. I've been a customer for a decade and hope to be for decades more!“

“The best fresh tortillas I've had in a long time, filled with generous portions of lengua/cabeza/al pastor (all perfectly cooked) and served with delicious salsas. You just can't beat it. I thought the meat was a little under salted but...they got salt. It's a taco, you can work this out. Will be going back as soon as I can find an excuse to to try the birria.“
