Pátzcuaro Taqueria & Bar Reviews
A little bit of a wait, but definitely very very very good. If you are getting that itch for something authentic, this is the place. Ask for the avocado *hot* sauce. Trust me. This is the way.
Great space. Great service. And great food! Prices weren't bad at all and they had yummy desserts as well.
I have been to Patzacuaro no less than 40 times and every single time the food is phenomenal. The servers could not be more polite and they have an excellent spicy margarita. I go out to eat quite a bit and this is my favorite restaurant in the greater boston area.

Pátzcuaro Taqueria & Bar is a highly-regarded Mexican restaurant known for its exceptional food, drinks, and service. The menu offers standout dishes such as guacamole, flautas, tacos, tres leches cake, and a remarkable pambazo. The restaurant's welcoming atmosphere, authentic family recipes, and made-from-scratch approach make it a popular choice, although reservations can be challenging to secure due to its high demand and limited seating.
Customers praise the burrito, salsa, and phenomenal service, with the establishment being family-owned and run. The birria tacos, steak tacos, and guacamole are highlighted as delicious, and the tres leches cake is described as decent. The restaurant's close proximity to some customers' homes and its status as a go-to "I don't know what to eat" place further contribute to its appeal.
The restaurant has a cozy, festive, and thoroughly Mexican decor, and the service is outstanding, with the wait staff constantly in motion. The sauce selection is great, and the staff accommodates requests for more spicy options. The chips are fresh, thin, and sturdy enough to scoop the fantastic guacamole, and the birria jus is drinkable.
