I ordered the wagyu steak and it was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. The Brussels sprouts were spot on as well, with that ideal balance of crisp edges and tender centers.
A special shoutout to our waiter, Clev. He was one of the best waiters I’ve had in a long time—attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely made the whole experience better. He took great care of us from start to finish.

He wasn’t our server but always came by to check on us with a smile and I had to ask him to stop calling me sir and he apologized and said thats how he was raised. “I have been going to Grassfields for many years and have been very pleased. The past few times I have been there I ordered the broiled scallops and have been disappointed. The muscle on the scallops are not removed which are very tough to eat. Also I feel they are gritty. I am hoping that someone reads this and corrects the issue because Grassfields is a lovely place.“

I worked there back in the 80’s, and this is the next best thing to fresh off the boat, these guys know all the local fishermen and we supplied and sold more seafood than anywhere because it’s always fresh. Their online ordering is smooth and simple and they’re super safe upon pickup and following any and every Covid precaution there is! “I went to Grassfields Food & Spirits for the first time yesterday for lunch. I had my 6 year old daughter and 1 year old son with me. By gods grace my kids have always been easy to take to dinner without stress, however yesterday my son wasn’t particularly feeling the best because he is cutting a new tooth so he was screaming his head off (on and off) and my daughter accidentally leaned too hard on one side of the table which flipped up the opposite end and my entire, full, iced tea fell and spilled all over the floor. I must give a shout out to the staff there for being so kind and handling the situation with empathy and respect. If I could have anticipated that the kids wouldn’t do well at the restaurant I would have opted for lunch to go (which is what I ended up doing anyway after all that). The waitresses did not give me an attitude or dirty looks or get upset, instead they offered to clean up the mess for me and get me a new iced tea. It may seem like a small gesture but it didn’t go unnoticed because not everyone is as kind, understanding and patient. It’s proven in the death stare I did get from another diner lol. I also must mention that when we finally got home and ate the food was fantastic! The kids teriyaki chicken and rice pilaf was the best! My scallops Florentine was delicious too! I will be back for sure… maybe without the kids next time lol.“

“Came earlier for the reservation and went to the bar to wait for my fiancé. The bartender had the worst scowl on his face and took 7 mins to just say hi. Another 5 to get my order and make it. It was a Tom Collin's. 30 second drink; took 15 minutes. And he didn't make my drink correctly I had to coach him and even my fiancé noticed it and she was like let's go to the table. Then they sat us next to family with screaming kids. And it was my birthday so I kind of wanted a nice steak house and I got a McDonald's feel. The server was kind and knowledgeable of the menu and the pricing was fair. Steak cooked well and the crab soup was delicious. Didn't get the oysters location but they could be better. But yeah good spot, but damn a hello goes along way especially when I came out for a celebration and don't get out much like this spending this kind of money. Manager barely said hi and seemed like she did it as a courtesy to check the table instead of actually caring. I didn't touch a couple food items and would be nice to see a manager notice. I told the server but apparently word doesn't get to where it needs too for change to happen. Probably won't come back, definitely not to that bar.“
