“On a beautiful fall Saturday, after a local hike in the woods, we rewarded ourselves with a couple of beers here at the brewery. The selection is great because it’s more than just IPAs; at least 4 Oktoberfest traditional brews that were traditional but also modern enough to appeal to everyone. IPAs and lagers rounded out the selections and the couple we tried were great. Low-key vibe with a mix of clientele so everyone felt welcome. College football was on but only a few paying attention; just as many browsing the book sale! Definitely a repeatable experience.“

“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“

“This place has the best coffee in town. Their breakfast sandwiches are to die for. Lunch menu is just as good. Cookies, scones and muffins are all delicious. The owners Peter and Siri bend over backwards to please their customers. The register and serving crew Lisa and Isabel are great.“

“We consider ourselves foodies and ordered take out last week and the food was delicious! In addition the staff was super friendly and gave some great advice on what to order. Great portion sizes. Today my husband and I returned and dined in. Again, the food was so good and people working there were so nice! We will definitely return as well as spread the word to our friends. “Good breakfast - quality and variety. We’ve been going here for 20 years. Our one negative about Vic’s is they will rush you - doesn’t matter if there are 4 diners or if it’s full. This morning we had less than 1 minute with the menu, the order taking was rushed and incorrect, and we were pointedly asked if we were “done” (i.e., leave) despite being there for only 30-45 minutes in total - rude.“

“It was our first time at Mario’s on Saturday and you all did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the place was warm and festive. Christmas music was playing. Our appetizers were so good. The wedding soup was perfect! My husband had the meatballs with pasta and he loved it. The cannoli’s were delicious. Our server, David, was personable and fun. He knew the menu very well. We definitely will be back!“
