“It was our first time at Mario’s on Saturday and you all did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the place was warm and festive. Christmas music was playing. Our appetizers were so good. The wedding soup was perfect! My husband had the meatballs with pasta and he loved it. The cannoli’s were delicious. Our server, David, was personable and fun. He knew the menu very well. We definitely will be back!“

“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“

Saw other reviews stating best GF crust in the area, and it's definitely a solid contender for a traditional style pie for an out-of-towner. That it's substantially larger (by roughly 20%) than a normal GF pizza anywhere else helps, too. Will visit again.“

They may not look fancy, but they’re seasoned perfectly & cooked to perfection. I went for the Ying Yang bowl — so many protein options & so insanely flavorful. “My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“
