“We placed a walk-in order for a large pizza with pepper, onion, and mushroom as the three toppings. It took only ten minutes or so to be prepared. After working nine hours and skipping lunch, I was both hungry and fatigued.
That pizza was tasty. The crust wasn't chewy; it was perfect. The toppings were excellent. A tasty pizza.
The best are the owners. They're usually friendly. My 95-year-old mother was a regular Friday customer who had her hair done at the same mall, so they inquire about her. John will make it a bit more special if he knows it's for her. Having a welcoming neighborhood spot to visit is excellent. And, to top it all off, great cuisine.
They also offer a dining area and deliver.“

“I can always recommend a Legal's for any meal. Though I still miss the offering of a Sunday brunch at the Washington Street location. This is one of the few places that open at 11am, on Sunday, near The Boston Opera House and accepts reservations.“

My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. Great vibe / casual and relaxing with great TV set ups at the bar so we could keep an eye on the Celtics game… great cocktails, food was fresh and delicious with a unique flair that the chef creates to show his wide range of training and influences! I love that he personally came out to chat with us after we finished eating. What a wonderful local business that I am happy to support! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing offerings! “Being 100% Italian also the food was amazing! They started us off with real EVOO to dip Our bread in with salt & pepper you can tell the EVOO was straight from Italy. I started with the arancini special which was sausage and saffron sitting in a white creamy sauce that was absolutely delicious. Then it was a toss up on my pasta dish between lobster raviolis and wild mushroom pappardelle I went with the lobster raviolis in a pink sauce. I never finish my food and I ate ever single ravioli. The portion was good enough for me and the proper way to eat a pasta dish so you don’t have left overs or waste. The pink sauce was creamy and delicious (I even dipped my bread in it at the end). Then I went straight for the dessert and ordered affogato (gelato with espresso) wow amazing not too sweet and not too bitter from the espresso perfect blend. Then my friend and I still were not ready to leave so I ordered a espresso martini and again amazing only advice I would give them is shake the martini more to make it foamy And that was my first experience at Gusto’s I give it a 10/10 Oh and the pizza looked really good that will be my next outing.“

“La Victoria has long been a go-to option if I need a quick and affordable lunch option, but this past week I got catering platters from them for the Friday night dinner for our out of town guests for my son's bar mtizvah. Everything was delicious, and it was easy for people to mix and match what they wanted to eat -- a real benefit for feeding a crowd. Alex at La Victoria made the ordering process easy! “Update 22 Mar 2026: Another awesome meal and this time we enjoyed it with our friends.We are huge fans of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the waitlist timer is still way off, which makes planning to get there on time a bit challenging. The first time, I joined the wait list, it showed 30-60 min but our table was ready in 10 min or so. the next time, it showed 30-60 min but our table was not ready within that time frame.

June 2025:
Since we discovered this restaurant last month we have already eaten here twice. The food, the atmosphere, the seating is so amazing and so authentically Japanese. We loved the ramen, takoyaki and pop corn chicken. Make sure to reserve in advance as they get busy even on a working Tuesday..“
