“We placed a walk-in order for a large pizza with pepper, onion, and mushroom as the three toppings. It took only ten minutes or so to be prepared. After working nine hours and skipping lunch, I was both hungry and fatigued.
That pizza was tasty. The crust wasn't chewy; it was perfect. The toppings were excellent. A tasty pizza.
The best are the owners. They're usually friendly. My 95-year-old mother was a regular Friday customer who had her hair done at the same mall, so they inquire about her. John will make it a bit more special if he knows it's for her. Having a welcoming neighborhood spot to visit is excellent. And, to top it all off, great cuisine.
They also offer a dining area and deliver.“

“Last night I had the pleasure of visiting Volo Craft Pizza in Swampscott, MA — and wow, what an experience! 🌊🍕 The ambiance right by the water is beautiful, with Boston’s skyline in the distance, and the service made us feel right at home. Owners Pina and Tony are so warm and personable — it truly feels like family when you’re there. Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Having grown up with New York City parents (and with my own background working in a pizza restaurant), I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was next-level. Their Detroit-style Double Trouble pizza with hot honey was out of this world. 🍯🔥 The Caesar salad with fresh-grated cheese was crisp and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the cannolis with chocolate chips and lemon — pure heaven. 🍋🍫 I’d happily drive 35 minutes any day for this. We had the Mushroom and Sauceech Pizza, Veal Parm, Eggplant Parm, Fried Chicken Sandwich... I did the Side of Angel Hair with 1 Sauceech and 1 Meatball. The sauce is Amazing!! Fresh, Homemade, San Maranzano Tomatoes make it sweet. Just like I've had in Italy.

“I’ve been coming here my entire life 25 years old, but I had the best experience so far as in this week the pretty woman managers has always had their neck out for me and then Nick the shift lead really helped me out with a coupon despite not being valid or something like that, but since I came in Twice earlier that week. I got the coupon at New England fan Fest in Swansea mass from D’Angelo’s customer service rep. They were able to give me a 20% discount not the full coupon and Elijah did whatever it took to help me out awesome staff. Also random but back in 2008 there was a blonde, white haired gentleman named Dick, who was the manager. He was pretty awesome. He would give us a tour of the place.“

“This was my first time here. I wanted to try the handmade pasta so I ordered the spaghetti with shrimp in white wine sauce. First off, though I've only been to 2 or 3 places in the North End, this was better than anything I've had there thus far. I walked in on a Sunday night and got a seat in this small but charming place right away. I'm no expert on decor but to me it was like a balanced combination of rustic and modern with the brick wall and what looked to me like wooden wine boxes built in to a part of the wall juxtaposed to the velvety green stools splashed with black behind the counter. I noticed that there was a real flower placed in water on each table, as well. A small lit candle might have been even better, as it seemed like this is a place that couples like to go. There were two or three pairs affectionately focusing on each other. I can see why. Even though there's no privacy because it's very small, it's a cozy little place in very liberal Somerville. You can be yourself and not feel like others are judging. After I sat they brought out a large glass bottle of water, which was cool, that way I have no issues getting more if I'm thirsty. My order was done in like 5 minutes, even though 2 or 3 couples were waiting for there pizzas to come out. The pizzas are obviously a draw. They looked good as they were brought out. The pasta dish I ordered was perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful. I don't know if I had to order bread, but I wish I had some to sop up some of that sauce. I thought the dish could've been enhanced by a little salt and pepper along with a little crushed red pepper, since I like some heat, but I wanted to give the dish a chance as is. I have to say that many people would enjoy the dish as is, and I did as well. It was probably the best pasta I've ever had. This one woman was raving about it. She joked about opening her own place and stealing the chef. The portion was just right, too, even though I thought maybe one or two shrimp would've balanced out the ratio of pasta. You know what, I think that still works because to me the pasta was the star of the show. Giving you the chance to simply enjoy twirling that pasta covered in that sauce with the small variety of (grape?) tomatoes without a piece of shrimp seemed intentional, not profit driven. I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off, not with pasta that good.

As I said, I've eaten here one time, but I'm definitely going back. When I left I felt like I wanted to make it a regular thing. I spent 40 bucks (my meal was 30) and wasn't left feeling regretful. This is sort of like a hidden gem, though it's right on Broadway Street in Ball Square across from the green line in Somerville. It's a chill, comfortable but romantic atmosphere with an elevated feel and food that'll leave you satisfied. That's not an easy find from my experience. I've been disappointed by a lot of food in Boston but this was not one of those times. I'm eager to try the other things on their menu. And the service was beautiful, too. “I went to the pizzeria after a long day in Malden. Right as you walked in the door you could tell they had good quality food. There were about five tables for people to sit at. Each one has at least four seats. The table and seats were clean and there was no food or leftover crumbs on the table. The staff were nice and the food got to us in less than ten minutes. I got the ziti meatballs, and they were really good. I also got a small plate of fries to go with it. The food was delicious and I definitely recommend going there if you are floating around Malden.“

“Stopped in from out of town for some pizza on a Friday night after a recommendation from a friend. This place was great! We ate inside (two tables available, with typical nostalgic pizzeria flair) and enjoyed ourselves. The simple yet fun 1990’s decor, as seen in other review pictures made me smile, especially the ninja turtles framed picture. We got half cheese, and half with mushrooms, onions, pepperoni and garlic. Definitely recommend!“

“Being 100% Italian also the food was amazing! They started us off with real EVOO to dip Our bread in with salt & pepper you can tell the EVOO was straight from Italy. I started with the arancini special which was sausage and saffron sitting in a white creamy sauce that was absolutely delicious. Then it was a toss up on my pasta dish between lobster raviolis and wild mushroom pappardelle I went with the lobster raviolis in a pink sauce. I never finish my food and I ate ever single ravioli. The portion was good enough for me and the proper way to eat a pasta dish so you don’t have left overs or waste. The pink sauce was creamy and delicious (I even dipped my bread in it at the end). Then I went straight for the dessert and ordered affogato (gelato with espresso) wow amazing not too sweet and not too bitter from the espresso perfect blend. Then my friend and I still were not ready to leave so I ordered a espresso martini and again amazing only advice I would give them is shake the martini more to make it foamy And that was my first experience at Gusto’s I give it a 10/10 Oh and the pizza looked really good that will be my next outing.“

“My wife and I visited Anthony’s for our first meal after arriving in Boston. We ordered the square Margherita and my wife got a bowl of pasta fagioli for an appetizer. Our server, Taylor C, was attentive and nice while the food was excellent. Everything was perfect Italian food and I wish I could have transported a bowl of fresh pasta fagioli to my grandmother since she would have adored it. The perfect meal after a long day of driving.“

“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

“Awesome pie. The best I've had in years. I moved to Woburn 5 years ago and couldn't find a decent pizza. Some were better than others. Then I saw a review for Louies and thought I'd give it a try. Luckily the took my order as they only stay open until the dough runs out. They said be here in 45 minutes for the pie because that's when they were closing. I could tell by the smell of the pie on the way home that it was gonna be good. Got the pie home and it was glorious. Just enough browning and highly burned crust. The crust was thin, crisp but not crunchy with a decent bottom coating of corn meal. The toppings were generous and fresh plus the cheese didn't need an oil change like alot of places pies. It not really an eat in joint but it's exactly what I like to see from a shoppe that's been in business since the 50's. All in all, it's gonna be my go-to from now on. But you'll have to bring your own anchovies!“

“For those that read about the problems with family dough pizza and choose not to go back, give them another chance. We’ve been picking our pizza usually but yesterday i felt like having it delivered and didn’t want to go out. I called for delivery at 2:30 yesterday and the young female owner said we don’t have a driver until 4:30. I said ok thank you and hung up. I was going to call back and go get it but I didn’t have a chance. The young woman called me back and said one of the cooks offered to deliver my order. So I placed it and he came.
