Owners Pina and Tony are so warm and personable — it truly feels like family when you’re there. Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Having grown up with New York City parents (and with my own background working in a pizza restaurant), I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was next-level. Their Detroit-style Double Trouble pizza with hot honey was out of this world. 🍯🔥 The Caesar salad with fresh-grated cheese was crisp and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the cannolis with chocolate chips and lemon — pure heaven. 🍋🍫 I’d happily drive 35 minutes any day for this. We had the Mushroom and Sauceech Pizza, Veal Parm, Eggplant Parm, Fried Chicken Sandwich... I did the Side of Angel Hair with 1 Sauceech and 1 Meatball. The sauce is Amazing!! Fresh, Homemade, San Maranzano Tomatoes make it sweet. Just like I've had in Italy.

“Went tonight with my wife. Started with meatball app and Korean BBQ pizza. Meatballs we're great, they had wipped ricotta. Also had chicken wings which were massive and tasty. They could have been cooked a bit more. Also tried the Brooksy and margarita pizzas. Both extraordinary. The dough is a bit chewy and crunchy at the same time. It makes a great pizza. Service from the beginning was great. Friendly staff as soon as you walk in. Well be back for the pepperoni and white sausage. RECOMMEND.“

“I’ve been coming here my entire life 25 years old, but I had the best experience so far as in this week the pretty woman managers has always had their neck out for me and then Nick the shift lead really helped me out with a coupon despite not being valid or something like that, but since I came in Twice earlier that week. I got the coupon at New England fan Fest in Swansea mass from D’Angelo’s customer service rep. They were able to give me a 20% discount not the full coupon and Elijah did whatever it took to help me out awesome staff. Also random but back in 2008 there was a blonde, white haired gentleman named Dick, who was the manager. He was pretty awesome. He would give us a tour of the place.“

“Stopped in from out of town for some pizza on a Friday night after a recommendation from a friend. This place was great! We ate inside (two tables available, with typical nostalgic pizzeria flair) and enjoyed ourselves. The simple yet fun 1990’s decor, as seen in other review pictures made me smile, especially the ninja turtles framed picture. We got half cheese, and half with mushrooms, onions, pepperoni and garlic. Definitely recommend!“

“My wife and I visited Anthony’s for our first meal after arriving in Boston. We ordered the square Margherita and my wife got a bowl of pasta fagioli for an appetizer. Our server, Taylor C, was attentive and nice while the food was excellent. Everything was perfect Italian food and I wish I could have transported a bowl of fresh pasta fagioli to my grandmother since she would have adored it. The perfect meal after a long day of driving.“

“Awesome pie. The best I've had in years. I moved to Woburn 5 years ago and couldn't find a decent pizza. Some were better than others. Then I saw a review for Louies and thought I'd give it a try. Luckily the took my order as they only stay open until the dough runs out. They said be here in 45 minutes for the pie because that's when they were closing. I could tell by the smell of the pie on the way home that it was gonna be good. Got the pie home and it was glorious. Just enough browning and highly burned crust. The crust was thin, crisp but not crunchy with a decent bottom coating of corn meal. The toppings were generous and fresh plus the cheese didn't need an oil change like alot of places pies. It not really an eat in joint but it's exactly what I like to see from a shoppe that's been in business since the 50's. All in all, it's gonna be my go-to from now on. But you'll have to bring your own anchovies!“

“For those that read about the problems with family dough pizza and choose not to go back, give them another chance. We’ve been picking our pizza usually but yesterday i felt like having it delivered and didn’t want to go out. I called for delivery at 2:30 yesterday and the young female owner said we don’t have a driver until 4:30. I said ok thank you and hung up. I was going to call back and go get it but I didn’t have a chance. The young woman called me back and said one of the cooks offered to deliver my order. So I placed it and he came. I thought that was really really nice of her because no other place would’ve done that. yes, if you went there once, and had a bad experience, please give them another chance. “Topsfield house of pizza has always been a super friendly establishment with decent food. A couple years ago I came here with my class as the Essex tech was doing work for the town of topsfield. When we came in and sat down we were gifted a free pizza from the staff. Now years later I return by myself and still get the same phenomenal hospitality I did years ago.
