“Great place, great food, great service, great people.“

“We have been here before but only for a cocktail and snack. This was our first dinner.

I’m super happy to have a new place to add to the rotation. Our meals were delicious. I opted for the Steak Frites and he got the Pork Saltimbocca, our son (5) had the chicken quesadilla. We were all really happy with our choices. The steak was cooked perfect (I get medium) it was a nice pink and the flavor packed in each bite was so good. My husband couldn’t stop praising the pork and even said “it’s the best I think I have ever had”…of course I didn’t take offense. My son and I also loved the fries served with our meals, they are like steak fries but way better.

For drinks my husband got his usual martini (and he loves places that make it right…no vermouth!) and I had a black and tan (but with the Cider Donut cider beer from Boston’s own Downeast Cider)…nicknamed the Snakebite or Black Velvet.

The location off Bay Road was adjacent to the train station, so this will be a great meet-up location on my late voyages home when we are too tired to cook. It’s got a great bar (which we visited in the past) and was comfortable with the glow of a cool fireplace in the dining room.

We parked on the side street but there seems to be ample parking all around.

This dinner definitely did not disappoint, and we will be back!

“Mushroom pizza with garlic fudge is mind blowing!!! Love the Mushrooms they use and porcine cream. I have never tasted anything like it. The owner gave my husband a slice for me to try
because my husband said I like the mushrooms they use when i would order cheese with half mushrooms. My husband had the porchetta with pickled peppers and he loved it too! Great pizza!!!!!!!!“

Their cheese pizza (which is cooked to order when walking in) , was amazing. The sauce has the perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness and i left full and happy.“

“The food is great, and the menu is so large that everyone finds something they like. The service was great. The woman at the counter was very friendly, especially to my kids. Delivery is good too, they were running a little behind so they threw in a complimentary 2 liter of Sprite! I ordered a large calzone because I wanted dinner tonight as well as lunch for work tomorrow. This calzone is HUGE! I can get a few days lunch out of it. I can’t image what the extra large must look like! Rizzo’s in Salem gets 5 stars from me all around. Thanks!“

“Went here a few years ago for lunch. Not many places on the Main Street for lunch, but this place never fails. Went back today and had a great Tip Caesar wrap. It was huge and delicious. Had a hard time choosing as their menu is quite large. Well worth the visit. So large I took half home for dinner. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.“

The Gal was working alone but still talked with us the entire time while she flipped dough by hand and made pizzas, calzones and subs. The calzones were huge and so delicious! “This place is amazing! Our server, Kimmy went above and beyond to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. She gave us drink samples before we made a decision on our adult beverages. She made me a special saki peach tea that was wonderful! Her personality was so energetic! Kimmy, you're great!
Our pizza was absolutely phenomenal! We had the Margherita pizza (wood fire cooked!) and the owner made us another white pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. He had a slice and GAVE us the pizza! We chatted with him and his wife, great people!
I tried the chili oil that he recommended. I loved it so much I bought a bottle!
This is a MUST GO TO if you're in Salem craving pizza! You definitely will not be disappointed!!!

“It's good pizza. Also love the Greek Salad and the Mozzarella sticks are very tasty too. In particular, they deliver pretty quickly to our house so kudos for that. We order by phone and it's always been accurately delivered.

Vegetarian options: We often get an all veggie topping pizza and a salad. They both have cheese, so I guess it depends on how vegetarian you are.“

“Nice Mom & Pop style pizza ? restaurant on Rt.1 north of the fair grounds. We dined in and enjoyed a glass of wine and beer w a very tasty pepperoni pie. We could see that their carry out business was hopping from our table in the dining area. The service was friendly and attentive.

“First time trying Otto Pizza, and we were blown away! We both grew up in NY and lived in CT for 30 years, so we’re very particular about pizza, and have tried many places in the area. Some are very good, but Otto’s is spectacular.
Thin crust, delicious flavors — we had the 4-cheese white pizza with spinach, and the meatball & ricotta red pizza. Both were absolutely delicious.

“I recommend Christina's to participants when I am organizing workshops as a great place to pick up lunch or dinner. I just brought an eggplant calzone to an event. It was a big hit, no leftovers despite there being lots of food and other calzones from other restaurants. And they were so nice to slice it up for me when I picked it up. “Pomodori saved our wedding!! Our original catered cancelled last second, literally an hour before we were serving lunch. I called Pomodori’s and they came with absolutely delicious pasta and pizza to serve our guests! Everyone was raving over the food and we cannot say enough kind words about Zach and the rest of the staff! They were so kind, helpful, delivering to us and saving the wedding! “yes but odd experience. Just ordered a pizza from panini pizza downtown Danvers n typically it's very good n fast but today it took over an hour which is fine but pizza arrived cold, not warm but cold. So no problem I called and the same kid answers who took my order the 1st time n I explained that the pizza has arrvied cold and asked if I'd like a new pizza and of course I said yes if you could get it here hot, np. So fast forward to same driver showing up with new pizza n i say thsnkyou as I was outside working on front porch n then he asked for the cold pizza back? I hesitate.... Like I'm thinking in my head that the kid on phone didn't say anything about giving it back even after I offered to send it back, so I put the slices in zip lock bags on fridge for lunch tomorrow as what else would i do with cold pizza n a fresh hot pizza on the way. So i gave the dude 1 of the zip lock bags to take back n shut the door as he stood there confused. Then he started walking to his car to watch i could assume to be confused lol. Pretty sure it's against law to take the food back and he was like they want to see how cold it is, wierd... like dude the pizza is cold to the point i.threw the first slice out after trying 2 bites, what are you really doing with it.
