“The pastries have all been fantastic, and reflects the quality of ingredients and skill of the staff. The shop is tucked away but has plenty of free parking.

Some of my favorite treats: The fruit and custard tart. The filling was perfectly sweetened and smooth, and the fruit was very fresh tasting. Also the maple cinnamon buns. This picture is of their fruit tart and a muffin.”

“This has quickly become my husband’s and my favorite restaurant! The food is always delicious, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the staff is incredibly attentive.

We’ve made several reservations and enjoyed the high-top tables and larger dining room tables, but our favorite spot is definitely saddled up at the bar, enjoying appetizers and dinner while chatting with the friendly staff.

We can’t say enough about Chef Nate, who always goes above and beyond to make sure every meal is outstanding. He’ll often step out from behind the busy kitchen he orchestrates so effortlessly to check in with guests and make sure everything is just right. You simply don’t get that kind of personal attention everywhere anymore, and we truly appreciate how much the entire staff cares about creating an exceptional dining experience.

“It wasn't really busy the time that we went. And it seemed like we were always waiting for our server.  pork belly tacos were ok, nothing that I'd rave about. My friend did enjoy her salmon. We also ordered drinks, and the first beer that I ordered was flat, so I sent it back.”

“I had a great experience at my local Dunkin’ Donuts! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and quick service. The staff was patient, attentive, and made sure my order was exactly right. Even during a busy rush, they kept things moving efficiently without sacrificing quality.

My coffee was fresh and perfectly made, and the donuts tasted soft and delicious. The store itself was clean and well-organized, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

It’s always nice to find a spot where the team clearly cares about customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back for my morning coffee fix! The new manager has everything running like a well oiled machine. She goes above and beyond to make things quick and courteous.”

“We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. The organization and communication throughout the planning process were clear and easy, which made everything feel seamless. “My husband and I sat outside and had a lovely snack in the sun, away from most of the hustle & bustle that October brings to Salem. We thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash hummus, falafel, and cauliflower & quinoa tabouleh but the real highlight for us was the apple cider! Holy. It was the best we had on our trip around New England. Not too sweet, served nice & hot, lightly spiced and so, so good! The service was wonderful as well! “I am a huge fan of key lime pie and have sampled it at pretty much every opportunity. Each time, I find something that isn’t an A+. The crust is too grainy or crumbly, the bakery has added meringue (which I like on lemon but not lime), or—and this is the most common offender—there is entirely too much lime in the recipe. But the key lime pie I had at Caramel was exceptional in every possible way, especially in its balance of lime flavor. I didn’t try anything else there, so I can’t vouch for the macarons or other goodies, but if you love key lime pie, RUN to this bakery!”

“Stopped in this past Saturday, on a trip up from Florida. Watched the dog training class for a bit and their welcome inside, and sampled a couple of the "offerings". Great brews! As a former home brewer, brought back a couple memories (Porter and IPA). And the bartender was GREAT!! 🙂”

“As the inventor of the fried clam, this place destroyed almost all other places that sell fried clams.
The fried clams that I had here yesterday were the best that I ever had! The slaw was good too.
This place is huge and is able to handle large crowds.
There are two separate lines/counters for beverages vs food. There are free drink refills on the fountain drinks.
The staff here does a great job.
I am thankful that I learned of this place and was able to go here.
They offer ice cream, but it is seasonal.
I really do need to reassess my prior fried clam restaurant choices…
