The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. “My husband and I sat outside and had a lovely snack in the sun, away from most of the hustle & bustle that October brings to Salem. We thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash hummus, falafel, and cauliflower & quinoa tabouleh but the real highlight for us was the apple cider! Holy. It was the best we had on our trip around New England. Not too sweet, served nice & hot, lightly spiced and so, so good! The service was wonderful as well! “We hosted my son's high school graduation party in the Bramble room + the upstairs lounge. From start to finish, the staff made the process easy and well organized. While we wanted to host a nice party, we also wanted to keep the costs reasonable. The team was creative with their suggestions and helpful in accommodating our requests. Not hosting this event at home, allowed us to really enjoy our guests and to leave the planning up to the experts. Everyone loved the food and the service staff went out of their way to make this a memorable night! Thanks again!”

“This place is superb. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, VERY SUBSTANTIAL (one bowl will feed 3!) and a delight. The owner welcomed us with grace and kindness and told us that if it wasn't to our liking, he would make it right. We were gifted Rice Pudding (the cinnamon....oy vey!) and Baklava. Will be back every time I go to Mass General for treatment.”

“I am a huge fan of key lime pie and have sampled it at pretty much every opportunity. Each time, I find something that isn’t an A+. The crust is too grainy or crumbly, the bakery has added meringue (which I like on lemon but not lime), or—and this is the most common offender—there is entirely too much lime in the recipe. But the key lime pie I had at Caramel was exceptional in every possible way, especially in its balance of lime flavor. I didn’t try anything else there, so I can’t vouch for the macarons or other goodies, but if you love key lime pie, RUN to this bakery!”

“My husband and I went to Crossroads last night on the spur of the moment - we were pleasantly surprised with everything!! Great vibe / casual and relaxing with great TV set ups at the bar so we could keep an eye on the Celtics game… great cocktails, food was fresh and delicious with a unique flair that the chef creates to show his wide range of training and influences! I love that he personally came out to chat with us after we finished eating. What a wonderful local business that I am happy to support! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing offerings! (My husband is vegetarian and he found plenty of options to try!)”

“I hosted our office event at Double Bull last night, with Musical Bingo in the Avalon room. It was absolutely fantastic! From the service to the food to the drinks! Our server, Jackie, is the sweetest and so accommodating! Rebecca the House/Event manager was a doll! She was so considerate, helpful and detailed oriented in planning the event. She even had our company logo on the menu! The office will be talking about this one for a long time. Thanks ladies from all of us!”

“Stopped in this past Saturday, on a trip up from Florida. Watched the dog training class for a bit and their welcome inside, and sampled a couple of the "offerings". Great brews! As a former home brewer, brought back a couple memories (Porter and IPA). And the bartender was GREAT!! 🙂”
