“On a visit to Massachusetts, I had to stop by the Topsfield Bakeshop. I had seen a pic mentioning them from the Phantom Gourmet. Conveniently located off the turnpike, the interior of the shop is very nice and inviting. I ordered up 3 whoopie pies: a Smores, cinnamon swirl and grahamie whoopie pies which were so good! Light fluffy cake rounds with a soft, sweet whipped filling in between. They were super moist and the perfect size for eating out of hand.

I'd be back often if I lived in the area.”

“We usually get our whoopie pies when the wagon comes to our local craft fair. Today was not different. We got the original and salted caramel. They didn’t last long here. Daughter and I decided we are gonna take a ride down to MA to the shop for more. These are some of the best whoopie pies I have had in a long time. Filling is so light and creamy. Other businesses tend to make the filling thicker and more grittier. These are made like my Mum used to bake.”

“Nice Mom & Pop style pizza ? restaurant on Rt.1 north of the fair grounds. We dined in and enjoyed a glass of wine and beer w a very tasty pepperoni pie. We could see that their carry out business was hopping from our table in the dining area. The service was friendly and attentive.

“The roast beef sandwiches are warm, tender, tasty... literally one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. One of the seven wonders of the food world. If you're a foodie (like me) and have never had a roast beef sandwich from the North Shore, go out of your way to try one. It's nothing like the boars head crap you get in the rest of the world. Fries were great too. I didn't try the pizza.”

I only recently moved to the Boston area; lo and behold, turns out I live around the corner from the CLAM HIGHWAY. Ted Reinstein from Chronicle said A&D clams were his favorite, so I showed up not knowing what to expect, and man oh man! Clam sandwich! It's so good! And the interior and design of the place is really cute while still feeling New England, too!

because my husband said I like the mushrooms they use when i would order cheese with half mushrooms. My husband had the porchetta with pickled peppers and he loved it too! Great pizza!!!!!!!!”

“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!”
