“We loved going to the Blue Marlin yearly to celebrate my nanas birthday! They've always been extremely accommodating for our large group (roughly 20-30ppl). Everyone is always satisfied and has MORE than enough food.”
“Such a good spot and nice people. And awesome sandwiches, soups and more. Plus cool provisions I’ll call them (sourdough bread, premade coleslaw which was amazing btw). So glad we found this place, thanks to Google Maps and high ratings I must admit. Which is why I am adding my support! We look forward to our next visit!Ps. Photo does the wrap no justice other than I saved half as very generous size! Trust me handmade goodness at The Mill!”
“Parking: 100 feet off Rt 133, 26 feet max from Restaurant door. Perfect for a rain day.Kid-friendliness: Kids can enjoy helping, their parents, get Condiments. Friendly family booths. Great whoopie Pies.Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are huge. The place is new and designed well.”
“Great atmosphere, service and a menu that offers a variety of quality food including local seafood and specials. Kid friendly with Cocktail's that don't disappoint.”
“Essex is truly lucky to have Googans! I work right around the corner and it is wonderful having a go to spot for lunch or a mid week bakery treat. My office loves their brownies and most recently their amazing chicken pot pie pasta as well as their carrot cake donuts.”
“House converted into an ice cream shop. Regular flavors, good sized portions and service with a smile. The back yard has chairs scattered about and a sort of pergola. If feels like someone's back yard - and probably is!”
“This place is fantastic! You can tell the sauce is homemade. They use quality ingredients. I'm in Utah hoping I can make it back soon to grab another pizza!Dietary restrictions: Celiac”
“The rosemary shortbread cookies have been my FAVORITE FOR YEARS!! I was so pleased to see them at the Boston airport and brought them to some friends in Chicago, they loved them”
“Wow. The food here is fantastic. I think they make the customers get up to get drinks and food is to make sure they don’t eat the entire kitchen in one sitting. The food is that good.If you’re a first timer, food is ordered at the register, so there can be a line due to how delicious everything inside is. That line can extend outdoors so come prepared… for good eats!Fried clams and boats and whatchahoozits. All good.A place where you can have some fun with people you love. You will walk away with a lasting memory”
“Ordered the Steak tip kabob salad. Steak portion is great; however could be a little more tender. Could use a little more feta along with veggies. The lettuce did have some brown along the edges. Not sure if the Greek dressing was homemade or store bought (Good taste). I did ask for no olives and received one. Could've been by accident (lol). Overall I would order this salad again.”
“I’ve have been remiss in accolades as I have been here several times over the past few years… outstanding food highly recommend the lobster salad, the winter wedge and the key lime pie is a slice of heaven ? staff is lovely and a fantastic ”
“Service was excellent, bruschetta was great, husband’s chicken parm was great. Unfortunately my lasagna was a skillet full of melted cheese and sauce. Could barely find the lasagna. I’d definitely go back to try something different, just won’t order the lasagna again. Sorry!”
“It is comforting to have a known place with great food, coffee and tea (not to mention the donuts!) available in this quaint little New England Village. So Convenient!!”
“Delicious beer and awesome place for an event! We hosted a baby shower here, were able to bring our own food (because kitchen closed off season), and enjoyed all the awesome drink options the brewery had. Great views of the Marsh and just an overall great environment for our event. Highly recommend this spot for an event!”
“Great type of place to go every day of the week. Excellent burgers and specials. The chowder was terrific. A wide beer selection. And good music to top it off. The service was outstanding.”
“Hailey was amazing food was amazing service from door to table was outstanding it was pricey but worth every penny and more I hope we come back when we visit Salem againKid-friendliness: They accommodated our 4yo and had no problem with our 10yo and other kids we had service was impeccable”
“My wife gets all the credit for introducing me to this restaurant. I didn't know what to expect, but definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to in Massachusetts. This place isn't just great food, but also extremely friendly staff. I unfortunately didn't think to take photos, but we got the whipped ricotta and shared the salad. I got the chicken dish and my wife the pasta. Everything was amazing. It does seem like the dishes are on a fairly frequent rotation so new dishes pop up unless I'm mistaken. Highly recommend trying this place out and make sure you get reservations as there is limited seating.”
“A small but very nice place. The food was wonderful and was nicely plated. we really enjoyed it a lot. was nice to see a menu that's a little different and interesting. the staff was really nice.”
“We held a Baby Shower at the Grove. It was just absolutely perfect. The food was amazing. The ambiance was just beautiful. Dayna and the team were accommodating and helpful. It rally was just lovely! Thank you”
“First time dining at Ledger tonight and we absolutely loved it. The food was wonderful (we both got the Cod special and it was incredible) and the servers were very friendly and accommodating. The martinis were very good. We sat at the bar and will definitely be back!”
“Lovely sushi restaurant, the fish was super fresh and tasty. The service was quick and the staff very knowledgeable. We'll be coming back as often as we can.”
“Delicious and unique ice cream flavors. Sophia accommodated our large party with friendly service. Small ice cream shop but still had plenty of seating. If I was a local I'd make multiple weekly trips!”
“When I stumbled upon Beantrust during one of my walks in Beverly, it was like discovering a hidden gem! From that moment on, it became my ultimate go-to spot for delicious cold brew coffee and amazing baked snacks. Their ham and cheese brioche is an absolute delight! But what truly sets Beantrust apart is Erik, the incredible owner. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his friendly demeanor makes every visit feel like a warm welcome. It's not every day you find someone so passionate about their craft and dedicated to creating a positive atmosphere for their customers. Beantrust is not just a café; it's an experience filled with excitement and genuine hospitality!”
“Pastries are delicious! We got the hazelnut buttercream, the pistachio (forget the name), pain au chocolat, and 6 macarons. Totaled around $35, which is expected for high quality pastries. The pain au chocolat was perfectly flaky and had a good amount of chocolate. My 1.5 year old loved it too. My husband loved the pistachio pastry. It was very light and fluffy. I loved the hazelnut buttercream, the flavor was so delicate yet so rich. The macarons we got were tiramisu, peppermint, rose, earl grey, lavender, and chocolate. I've only tasted the peppermint but it was delicious. We went around 4:30pm so not as much to choose from, probably because they were closing soon, but we were happy with our selections. We'll be back for sure when we are in the area.”
“Notch is everything you could want out of a brewery: excellent beer, delicious small bites, and plenty of space.Their beer is mostly German. I believe I had the afternoon Pils which was tasty and easy drinking. The service is incredibly friendly. At one point one of the gentleman walked past and ask if I wanted another beer when he saw it was empty. I've never had that happen at a brewery before. The food was excellent. I initially got the pretzel and my girlfriend got the pretzel bites. If I could've done it over, I would've just gotten the bites. The dip that it comes with was cheezy and it had bits of butter and I would come all the way back to Salem just for some more of that. We'll absolutely be back.”
“If I could give 10 stars I would. We have been going to A&D for months now and probably once a week on average. My 9yo son asks to eat there all the time. Why? Besides the food being delicious and just mouth watering (my favorite - the scallop tacos! every single time - not sure it's on the menu but ask for it!), but also because George & Nina and the rest of the crew take such amazing care of us. George is passionate about food, people and service. He lets us know when he has something delicious coming up on the menu so we can try it out. And if he feels something isn't right - he's not going to wait for you to say something.. he is very proactive! It truly feels like a family when we go in, we have such a great time :) Thanks George, keep up the amazing work, we are grateful for you.”
“This has been my favorite new spot since they opened. The ice coffee is amazing and the staff so warm and welcoming . I accidentally left my wallet there today and they found me and reached out to me. I’m so grateful they went above and beyond . 10/10 recommend them ❤️”
“Amazing! What can I say that these other 5 star reviews haven't said already? My wife and I went for our anniversary, but you don't need a special occasion to go. Just go for it! The dedication that Chef Sang Lee puts into each dish is life changing. What I love the most if that Chef gets the freshest fish right from Gloucester and New England. Keep it up! We look forward to our next visit.”
“Best Pizza I’ve had in town and the North Shore. Remind me Of the pizza in Italy. It’s definitely the closest you’re gonna get to pizza from Italy. The service is great as well.”
“Had an awesome time celebrating my birthday there last night. They were very accommodating for our large party and were extremely nice and attentive. Will be back soon!”
