My partner and I went to celebrate our marriage and had a lovely time. The fish and chips were delicious! It’s a family owned place and a great local spot. We will definitely be returning in the near future!
This place is a gem. We got there and before we could order food, the power went out all over the area. The staff handled things brilliantly and we finished our cold beers and they gave us our food to go. The server, Haze (sorry if I spelled it wrong), was super friendly and professional as was the whole staff. Bonus: the food is so good. We come here often, and our daughter really enjoys it, so The James has become one of our go-to spots for food and drinks. The service is usually very good, and the atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing. For a local restaurant, they do a great job.
They have an excellent beer selection, although I still haven't ventured into the cocktail menu. The menu has enough variety that everyone in the family can find something they like, which makes coming here easy.
