“This place was extremely cute they are located on a super cute little corner in town and it was my first time there and coming around the corner seeing this small cute coffee shop was absolutely awesome. They had pretty good coffee but I think their main things are their sandwiches they had a killer BLT and i enjoyed that thing throughly it was a very good sandwich! As well as the whole vibes of the place it was sooo cute on the inside with a bit of seating for people to sit down in at the other end. They had a beautiful wall for just paintings they were selling and I was so tempted to get one since they were so beautifully drawn! Overall this place is definitely worth the drive adorable place!”

“Cala’s is the Bee’s Knees! I am blown away with the quality of food and especially the service! Golden nachos COVERED in tender pulled pork and fresh cheese, chicken tenders are hand battered and well seasoned, hand cut french fries cooked to perfection. Food and service have been superb, consistent, and dependable. Definitely a regular spot for us.”

“We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. “My husband and I sat outside and had a lovely snack in the sun, away from most of the hustle & bustle that October brings to Salem. We thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash hummus, falafel, and cauliflower & quinoa tabouleh but the real highlight for us was the apple cider! Holy. It was the best we had on our trip around New England. Not too sweet, served nice & hot, lightly spiced and so, so good! The service was wonderful as well! “I am a huge fan of key lime pie and have sampled it at pretty much every opportunity. Each time, I find something that isn’t an A+. The crust is too grainy or crumbly, the bakery has added meringue (which I like on lemon but not lime), or—and this is the most common offender—there is entirely too much lime in the recipe. But the key lime pie I had at Caramel was exceptional in every possible way, especially in its balance of lime flavor. I didn’t try anything else there, so I can’t vouch for the macarons or other goodies, but if you love key lime pie, RUN to this bakery!”

“Stopped in this past Saturday, on a trip up from Florida. Watched the dog training class for a bit and their welcome inside, and sampled a couple of the "offerings". Great brews! As a former home brewer, brought back a couple memories (Porter and IPA). And the bartender was GREAT!! 🙂”
