The dedication that Chef Sang Lee puts into each dish is life changing. What I love the most if that Chef gets the freshest fish right from Gloucester and New England. Keep it up! “My husband and I were driving through the area and stopped in for breakfast. This restaurant was excellent. The staff and local patrons were so friendly. The food was amazing. If they sold T-shirts, I’d buy one! We give it a 12 out of 10. Highly recommend.”

“Wonderful oysters and fantastic baked stuffed lobster. Clam chowder pretty good and Milo loved the beef filet. The employees were really nice and I'm super impressed by the friendliness of the local people. Real good experience for me.”

“Visited for the first time last night and I can't believe we waited so long. This place is delicious! It's a cute place with a large bar and seating at well spaced tables, plenty of elbow room. Service was great. Server (owner or manager maybe?) was very warm and friendly. I got the Machaca (beef brisket) rolled up in a chimichanga while my partner had a variety of tacos. It was all amazing! Even the sauce on the chimi had me cleaning my plate! Another owner(?), cook(?) also stopped by to check on us and explained the family background about some menu items. We were delighted. The margarita was also tasty. We will definitely be back for another taco Tuesday (or Margaritas Monday, etc.). I think this is our new favorite in the area. Can't wait to try more food!”

“Oh my god. Okay, so I'm very new to poke, like have only had it one time... at the mall food courtttt? (I know, I'm sorry hahah) but I just tried it here the other day and am currently eating a warm bowl of leftovers in my lap and just... it's just so good. I feel so nourished. The flavors, the textures. I had no idea it was here and often find myself longing for a nutritious, more wholesome meal amidst the many wonderful pizza/sub/seafood places on Cape Ann - don't get me wrong, I love a good slice or a cheesesteak! But sometimes my body is just like "I'm so tired. I don't want to cook. I need vegetables and rice and salmon, please... please ?" - The staff was so friendly and didn't make me feel awkward while I stood there reading every single thing on the sign in total overwhelm. They were happy to explain the menu and so cheerful. I tried their new Harvest Bowl with a combo of shrimp and smoked salmon... oh man. I hope that never leaves the menu! If you haven't been, go and have a poke bowl here!”

“Great pizza, we had the marg and the cheese, I'd rate it a solid 8.9(I honestly think it's better than some apizza places...) Neoplitan style but finished with semolina, making it amazingly crispy but still some chewiness. The sauce had a good balance of flavor and the cheese these guys use are top notch. The owner is the best part of the whole place, super friendly and welcoming.”

“Undoubtedly the best taqueria of the north shore! Even if there was 20 mexican restaurants in Gloucester alone, tacos Lupita would still reign supreme! Very affordable prices for a rich dining experience that includes juicy FULLY COOKED meat (which has been a reoccurring problem with many other local taquerias), creamy rice and incredibly fresh vegetables (onions always cut through the mix!) all wrapped in a homely, authentic atmosphere. The staff here are friendly and always cater to the customer. Bonus points: they've got canned juices for fruits you've probably never heard of! Whether you're on the island or not, the trek to tacos Lupita is well worth it. Can guarantee you won't be disappointed.”

“You will avoid going to chain restaurants after going to The Causeway. The food is fantastic and the kitchen staff are quick with the orders. Get the onion rings and a bowl of their fish or clam chowder.You won't be disappointed.The waitress is amazing ??”

“Went in SEPT in 2023. Overall, the dining experience was pleasurable and memorable. But, for the prices... no thanks.The portions were good and plating was great. Potates were out of this world delicious. The steak, while cooked as ordered, was not a great cut. While the in-bone marrow was a next level touch, Ive also had easier to eat steaks for a third of the cost. Also... please don't cut my steak up and let every last drop of juice leave the $100 steak before i get to eat it....but at least it looked nice right?The asparagus with my plate was aweful. I ate maybe a 1/3 of the stems. My wife enjoyed her plate, but said was not "wowed".Service was... different? We did not receive the normal amount of visits, and it made it hard for me to order a second drink timed well. Very polite and pleasant though.The atmosphere was confusing and chaotic maybe? We sat in the back right and it just seemed that the restaurant couldnt make up its mind. Very open. The name of the restaurant does not evoke the atmosphere we found.Nice place? Yes. Nice people? Yes. Would I rather drop $200+ at another local spot with a more comfortable space and perfectly juicy meat with money to spare for dessert? Absolutely.”

“Well made, hearty portions. My wife and I go there weekly since moving to Gloucester a few months ago. We've ordered quite a few options. A couple were bland in my opinion, but the three bean chili with bread on the side is great!”
