“I highly recommend this amazing place to anyone who loves homemade delicious food and amazing down to earth people! My family and I found this place last year on our way home from our vacation in Rockport and we have not stopped thinking about it since! We finally were able to come back this year and it is just as good (if not better) then I remembered it being. The homemade blueberry muffins are a must but you really can’t go wrong with anything on there menu! The outdoor sitting has the perfect amount of shade and we love watching all the cars go by while eating our food. I can’t wait for our next vacation to Rockport so we can go here again!”

“Delightful seafood dinner with a fantastic view of the Rockport beach and harbor. Service was very good and the food was excellent. We both had the baked scallops with mashed potatoes and mashed butternut squash. Very tasty and they had Maine Lunch on draft. All around great meal.”

“Cool vibe, little seating area in the shade outside but its only 4/5 seats. Fast, efficent and friendly service. And delicious ice cream. Mid range pricing.

The order was fast and delicious. We split between three people and it was filling. We didn’t even finish it all, took the rest to go. Great little pit stop among all the shopping.”

“The food from Hong Kong Kitchen continues to improve. I suspect they have stopped worrying about local aging palates and are now cooking to their own expertise and tastes. Fresh ingredients and vegetables, generous portions, layered flavors. And as important, run by a really nice family and charging fair prices.”

Good selection on the menu + a range of specials.

We shared the beet salad to start, which was fresh and good size portion, if a little bland.

I had the halibut special, which was good, but for me, it had a little too much 'stuff' on it. The panko crust detracted from the taste of the fish, which would have been fine on its own. That said, I did enjoy it, just not as much as the halibut I had the previous night, which was plain grilled with a sweetcorn salad.

My partner had the lamb chops, which were perfect- tender, tasty and perfectly cooked.

Desserts are not this restaurants strong point. The chocolate dessert was a lot of chocolate and the sponge was a little dry.

The Lemon tart special was OK, but too much base and the lemon bit and the cream had a rather odd consistency.

Overall we had a good evening, but was let down in a few areas. Plus the rather odd booking procedure of not being at to book before midday on the say is bizarre and might be the reason the restaurant was half empty.”

“Went with my son tonight. We put in an order for 2 pies, and went for a nice walk on the harbor while we waited. It didn’t take long and the pizza, I’ll say in my son’s words, was the best thing he’d ever eaten. I’m not going that far, I’m a Peking duck on my deathbed guy, but it was incredible. A real treasure to have them slinging this kind of pizza brilliance on the north shore.”

Or a sea-salt-sprinkled chocolate chip cookie? We tasted love, butter, and fresh local ingredients in every bite of every treat from Source. If you have ever heard of Gloucester, you are close enough to plan a trip just for the baked goods. We did. We bought a box of goodies before hitting the beach, and we left the beach in time to buy more before heading home. So jealous of the Gloucester locals! I am still dreaming of the hand-pies.”

“What a special experience last night was! I spent the evening with my 14 year old granddaughter and 7 others enjoying an evening we will never forget. My granddaughter felt the evening was one of the highlights of her summer. The food was unbelievable, the atmosphere was wonderful and our chef and hostess were incredible!
