“We got lunch here on a busy Sunday afternoon. Food was pretty good - I enjoyed the fish & chips and onion rings. Others seemed to enjoy their burgers. There was limited and pretty cramped seating, but we lucked out and had seats out back where you could see the water if you swivled your head the right way (and the back of a house if you didn't). The service was pretty slow - I think we waited 20-30 minutes before the food was ready, which was a result of them being pretty busy. Overall it was decent but the experience would depend on the time of day you went.”

“I highly recommend this amazing place to anyone who loves homemade delicious food and amazing down to earth people! My family and I found this place last year on our way home from our vacation in Rockport and we have not stopped thinking about it since! We finally were able to come back this year and it is just as good (if not better) then I remembered it being. The homemade blueberry muffins are a must but you really can’t go wrong with anything on there menu! The outdoor sitting has the perfect amount of shade and we love watching all the cars go by while eating our food. I can’t wait for our next vacation to Rockport so we can go here again!”

Seats about 23 people, so expect to wait if it's after 9:00 in the summer. Has outdoor seating in the summer.
Does not have restroom, but there's a public restroom just around the corner.”

“Cool brewery in downtown Rockport. They had a great selection of beers and a bunch of really good swag as well that you could buy with their logo on it. The staff was friendly enough and we enjoyed our time there.”

“I’ve been coming to this spot for over ten years now and I have yet to have a single bad experience. From the incredible customer service, to phenomenal food, to affordability and the cutest outdoor seating. They truly have the best fries in town and are a must stop for lunch while visiting bearskin neck. Their seafood is fresh, tasty and delicious, and they have the BEST lemonade in New England! Will never stop recommending them 🥰”

“Blacksmith Shop was our go to for Hot Teas, delicious pastries and melt in your mouth cookies!! We stayed next door for the past week and every morning it never failed we were greeted with a smile and great conversation! By the end of the week it was hard to say good by because we felt like family! I highly recommend stopping in and supporting this local gem in Rockport!”

“By far, the highest quality and tastiest Chinese cuisine in the area. Family-owned and operated, HKK has been consistently good for many, many years. With hands-on attention to every detail, along with careful preparation of a wide variety of home-made and old-country recipes, you will be surprised and delighted by everything you order. Look for the colorful "OPEN" flag at the beginning of Railroad Ave and stop in. You'll be glad you did.”

“We dined here twice in 4 days, both for dinner. Got the baked haddock, both times it was flavorful and cooked to perfection. My kids loved their fried fish and fried shrimp. The whole lobster was also fresh and good. The only critique we had was the scampis (lobster and shrimp) were floating in sauce and needed a bit more flavor, but the amount of lobster was very generous! If you are looking for a causal, no frills, fresh seafood spot, look no further.”

“Cool vibe, little seating area in the shade outside but its only 4/5 seats. Fast, efficent and friendly service. And delicious ice cream. Mid range pricing.

“We had an excellent lunch at My place by the sea. The server introduced all their signature and special dishes with clear expectations on price. We got some of the recommendations and it was AMAZING. I can’t ask more with amazing food, great service right next to ocean!”

“Delicious haddock sandwich and fries”

“The 3 stooges working the counter (3 little white girls) were extremely disrespectful and messed up my order. Called and ordered meatball sub with no cheese and got here to pickup, confirmed that it was no cheese, they said yes, got my sub, had cheese. Then acted bothered that they had to tell the cook to remake it, just standing there staring at us when we were waiting.”
