Highly recommend the gambas, the Red duck Curry and the blackened salmon. The drinks were unbelievable, the bar staff was amazing. We met a young man who worked the bar named Henry, amazing!!“

“The best lobster shack on the north shore. Owner, Kenny Porter is personable, knowledgeable, and all around great guy. Lobsters are fresh, reasonably priced, and delicious. “I've learned to be skeptical of questionable reviews. I was unable to get a reservation as we got to Rockport so late. That said, we took a chance and boy am I glad we did! Got lucky to get a booth in this bustling place! First of all the waitress (Buffy) was phenomenal. Second, the food DELICIOUS. We had the blackened/grilled fresh haddock and salmon with rice and yummy beets. They even brought fresh rolls! Drinks were excellent as was the wine. Everyone here works very hard to ensure that you are well taken care of and that you enjoy your dining experience. HIGHLY recommend and encourage a reservation as you might be lucky enough to score a table by the water!“

“The food from Hong Kong Kitchen continues to improve. I suspect they have stopped worrying about local aging palates and are now cooking to their own expertise and tastes. Fresh ingredients and vegetables, generous portions, layered flavors. And as important, run by a really nice family and charging fair prices.“

“Visited for the first time last night and I can't believe we waited so long. This place is delicious! It's a cute place with a large bar and seating at well spaced tables, plenty of elbow room. Service was great. Server (owner or manager maybe?) was very warm and friendly. I got the Machaca (beef brisket) rolled up in a chimichanga while my partner had a variety of tacos. It was all amazing! Even the sauce on the chimi had me cleaning my plate! Another owner(?), cook(?) also stopped by to check on us and explained the family background about some menu items. We were delighted. The margarita was also tasty. We will definitely be back for another taco Tuesday (or Margaritas Monday, etc.). I think this is our new favorite in the area. “If you want good seafood even for non seafood lovers go here, you get the biggest portions, the freshest tasting seafood (I love the halibut sandwhich)I would add battered pepperchinnis and lemons slices to your calamari, it's already amazing thought. I have dined here a handful of times and I can’t say enough about the staff, especially the Manager Joe. Laid back, down to earth and a complete professional. We were able to see our food being made which was really fascinating... very traditionally made and am so happy to support a local business but also this type of food which I believe is so underrated and made so traditionally! Just a heads up: Inside the restaurant, it is not really a sit down restaurant as it is a small building and there is like one table. This really only means your car will smell delicious for a while Their menu also has such an array of options which is very appealing to so many foodies out their! Wish I took photos!“

“The Salt Water Grille is NOT closed now. We just had lunch there and it was magnificent. We had seafood over penne and a lobster roll and they were perfect. LOTS of seafood was on the penne. It was a last-minute trip and found this little town an hour away from Boston. This place was walking distance right down main street from my airbnb. I was disappointed to find they didn't have their lobster roll anymore, but ended up going with their BLT and fries accompanied with a nice cold beer. Great first night getting settled in. “Best Lobster Roll in Gloucester, I've tried atleast 4-5 different places and this hands down has the best. The restaurant is NOT big, maybe 10-12 tables, with a countertop if your eating alone. I highly recommend this place and always come here when I'm in town.Parking: There is maybe 14-16 parking spots, which fill up fast but the wait is worth it. So be patient and come hungry!Kid-friendliness: This place is very casual and far less Stuffy then other places in Gloucester, MA. The kids had a fee great options and they loved their Chowder. The kids can also use the back of their placemat for coloring or playing tic-tac Toe. Bring your kids here and having a relaxing adult dinner not worrying about the looks from others.“

“Great pizza and subs, but the pearl is their Lobster Rolls. Best in Cape Ann, regardless of how fancy the restaurant is. Just enough mayo and seasoning, fresh grilled new england roll and tons of fresh caught lobster chunks. Prices are fair and Tuesdays rolls are a steal.“

Lobster rolls warm and 8 oz of meat priced $50. The scallops were excellent and the highlight. And lastly the baked haddock was like having thanksgiving flavor with fish.“

“Beautiful pizza. Amazing taste and I had the sausage pizza and it was perfectly loaded with the sausage on top. I've never tried Delaney pizza but had it last night and it was excellent. Sauce is not sweet so make sure you know that. It is a fine made red pizza sauce with amazing and wonderful cheese and for the topping was a beautiful amount of sausage. Absolutely wonderful ! Service was great when I picked up pizza. ! Very nice people inside“

“Service at the bar was extremely slow. Only one barmaid approached our party of two after 15 minutes while three others completely ignoring our presence. We couldn't get any one's attention to pay our bar tab. On the flip side, the service inside the restaurant was excellent. Jim was our server and was very attentive. The food was fantastic. Beautiful setting and overall good experience. Will return.“
