The food is delicious, the prices are excellent, and the portions are generous. The place is clean and welcoming, and the location is perfect—right across from the train station. They also open starting at 5:00 in the morning.

Every year I order my children’s birthday cake from Jim’s. I no longer live in Gloucester but I will always order cakes, cupcakes, etc from Jim’s. Here is the latest birthday cake I ordered for my sons 5th birthday. It not only looked great, it tasted delicious too.. a total hit with the kids and adults!
I give it four stars because it's a Gloucester shop and I support everything Glostah!
However in perfect honesty the bagels were good but not great, like not at all crunchy but a bit soggy, with the spinach one being original and particularly tasty. The Chive cream cheese was decent what does in just about every place too much cheese not enough Chive imho. The personnel was not particularly friendly and seen the rather uninterested in the clientele.
