“Went this past weekend. Luckily made a reservation a week prior because it was packed! Very attentive service. No rush, but there when we needed him. We have cocktails at the Hidden Door before arriving so we order wine and beer straightaway. Apps were the Hamachi tartar - FANTASTIC. Onion soup - wonderful. Escargot - look at that s car go!.. Mains were equally wonderful. The skate wing was perfect. Frankly it was so good I forget what everyone else got. Desserts were also yummy. We opted for the honey lavender sorbet - light and refreshing. We'll be back!“

“This review is for takeout. The online order menu is not helpful for identifying gluten-free items, but the person on the phone was very knowledgeable and helpful. They packaged my sushi separately and offered gluten-free soy sauce. Everyone was happy with their food. I really liked the spicy tuna and the fatty tuna rolls.“

“The staff is super friendly, the bar/booths are comfortable, and it's fun to visit. They also have a good rotating beer selection. Would like to see more menu items and the return of tater tots as a side option. Would also like to see The Substance from Bissell Bros make an appearance.“

“I rarely leave reviews, but felt I needed to for our first experience at Ithaki. We dined yesterday, which was Greek Easter. It was also my birthday, so no cooking! lol Made a reservation for 4, but at the last minute, my 92 year old mother felt up to joining us - she hasn't been interested in going out much lately, so we spent the morning with her. We were thrilled, and decided to chance it, hoping they could add a fifth to our reservation. It was crazy busy, but the staff really worked hard to accommodate us, and did so in a very timely manner. We were most grateful. The decor is beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was superb, even on this very busy day. They even included red eggs! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon.“

“Notch Brewery and Taproom in Salem is a must-visit for beer enthusiasts. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for hanging out with friends enjoying beers and playing games. The brewery offers mostly Czech and German style craft beers, each brewed with care and attention to detail. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to recommend a new brew or answer any questions. Plus, the spacious taproom provides ample seating, making it easy to find a spot even during busy times. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor seating. Keep in mind that they do not sell beer flights. Overall, Notch Brewery and Taproom is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy some great beer in Salem.“

“One of my favorite spots for breakfast, Nick & Andy’s has great food, large (without being grotesque) serving sizes, at reasonable prices. I love love love their yogurt parfait which is huge and super delicious. We are also big fans of the very berry French toast.“

“Great Thai every time, will be back. The scallion pancakes are exceptional-- one of the best around for miles. The veggie pad Thai is also amazing, I went for lunch. Large portions on the pad Thai lasted 3 meals for me. Reasonable prices and decent ambience, kind and friendly service that doesn't miss anything. Try the Thai tea-- $2.50 and comes with a very cute tea cup and teapot!“

“Me and my partner arrived at the tail end of the morning rush(11am). Despite the resteraunt bring full to bursting we were seated quickly and out waitress arrived promptly. My partner ordered a pepper and broccli and omelet which was good and an excellent cup of chicken noodle soup snd I got the marinated beef tips which are absolutely to die for. Our waitress stopped by twice to top off coffee at the table and check that our meals are good. I cannot overstate what a lovely spot this is, if you are in the area you owe it to yourself to check it out.Parking: Parking is slightly tricky but plentiful. the plaza is very busy and you just want to keep an eye on if you are using the parking for the business you are patronizing.“

She was attentive to all her tables ... it was very busy but she never made you feel like she didn't have time. It is a bit loud when the entire place is full but we were sat closer to the kitchen & it was a the perfect table. I was surprised the sounds were not overwhelming. We did have to wait for about 40 minutes for a table ... but it was Saturday @ dinner time. We chose to wait instead of sitting at the bar. We took our favorite pizza home with us .. fig & prosciutto... they did change the recipe but it was still amazing! Stop by if you're looking for great dishes or an outstanding pizza!“

“The food was unbelievable I got a 3 way roast beef and I can honestly say it was one of the best roast beef's in the Northshore. Service was good it was quick and the workers were nice. The only thing was it was expensive and they didn't give me as much beef as I would of liked.“

“The ciders at far from the tree cider house in Salem, Massachusetts were so delicious and refreshing! We had so much fun here enjoying each others company and enjoying a variety of unique and yummy hard apple ciders! We tried the "pocus flight" which of course was named after the Sanderson sisters and binx! Let me tell you this flight was completely on brand and the best hard ciders I have ever had! Our second flight was also incredible and unforgettable! The second flight of ciders included cherry bomb, candy apple, macachusetts, and nova. “This was my first time having a lobster roll. Couldn't have picked a better spot. Six of us came here based on the high reviews and those reviews were spot on. I got the mayo lobster roll, and that was so good I had to try the butter. Friends got the clam chowder and the lobster bisque. Lobster bisque was the best I've ever had and the clam chowder was a VERY close second to my favorite place, and that is very high praise. I'm glad I don't live near this place, because I'd go broke getting food from here every day!Parking: Right outside the window, about 5 spots. If it was really busy I could see parking being an issue, but when we were there, they were perfectly keeping up with the amount of people showing up so there was always at least one spot available“

“Took my mother there for lunch on Mother’s Day. Everybody loved the food, both Jamaican and Mediterranean options. Had the escoveitch fish and it was excellent, I also tried some of the brown strew which was equally delicious. The owner was also incredibly friendly and told us the story of the restaurant, really fascinating and inspiring. Looking forward to coming back!“

“I was so impressed with my lunch yesterday! I tried Chicken Zitti Broccoli Alfredo pasta dinner and my husband got the Red Passion Salad. We both finished our whole plates and we were so surprised with the short amount of time it took to receive it. The staff was helpful,kind and always with a smile in their faces. “I went to red's tavern first time March 16th 2024 to listen to a band that I follow and get a bite to eat waitress never introduced to self her customer service was awful the place is no good I wouldn't have recommend this place to anybody everybody has their own opinions but my first time going there I will never step in that establishment again they are not comfortable it's not friendly there I had to speak to the boss he went over to speak to the waitress and she just shrugged her shoulders said like who cares her name was Maureen and the manager was Tony very nice guy but it's not the point whoever rates it as a good place that's your opinion my opinion the place awful“

“We used Gallo Nero to cater an event at a nearby Brewery in Peabody and they did not disappoint. We could not believe the amount of food that they prepared for us at only $20 per person. It was beyond reasonable and generous and likely could have fed more than double the number of guests we had in attendance.Every time I called throughout the planning process the staff were patient and attentive with me and always made time to talk through every detail I had a question about.We had a lot of food allergies to accommodate and the chef went above and beyond to create a specialty menu that removed any worrisome ingredients.I cannot thank the team at Gallo Nero enough for their kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail. Every guest was raving about how delicious the food was! Definitely consider them to cater your next big event.Dietary restrictions: We hosted a special event and had Gallo Nero provide the catering. The guest of honor has a number of challenging food allergies (onion, garlic, tomato, etc.). We asked for one pasta dish without these ingredients and Gallo Nero was able to create an entire menu of dishes specially made that were safe for our friend to eat. Huge kudos to Gallo Nero for their hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond!“

Wonderful place to eat , only thing I didn't like was its cash only . “We were seating promptly. High Top table was fine, but the seats were very unstable, wobbly and need to be re-glued/screwed/ reinforced..... Pity if someone broke a stool and fell!! The service was great! We werent rushed at all. The mushroom flatbread was a delicious a stater for sharing the salmon with farro, fava and spinach, Wow! Please secure the seating and find a way to improve the acoustics. The Besides the noise was deafening, making it difficult to enjoy dinner conversation with friends.“

Perfectly cooked pork with a rich but not to "blue" cream sauce. Plenty of food for dinner plus the leftovers which will be lunch this weekend! My vegetarian wife ordered the leek and mushroom ravioli and she was in heaven too. Lastly if you are a fan of German Hefeweisen beer, grab the Tucher, prob the best authentic Hefe I've ever had!“

“I finally got this place after it being on my radar for quite some time. I live in Boston and used it as a mid-day waypoint on a trip to Gloucester. Also threw in an appetite inducing walk at the nearby (not walking distance) Lynn Woods. I got a rack of their semi famous ribs (Jesus!) and they were fantastic . I really liked that they came with slaw and grilled asparagus (vs fries). I sat at the bar since I was alone, but they have a really cool deck with good views of the lake. Great service by the bartender Ashley. Personable, highly efficient, and mixes a good drink. Highly recommend.“

“Came in to bridges as we were craving something a little different for dinner. The food was made fresh to order so we took a walk to the beach while we waited for our food to be cooked. The space has a lot of plants which make it feel very home-y in side. The chicken tikka masala was great but I'm a fan of spice so I could have used a little more heat. The momo dumplings were delicious - highly recommend adding to your meal.“

“This is the first place in a long time that makes meatballs and sauce (Gravy) taste like my Mom's. I mean I can make them myself but when I don't have time or am too lazy (more often than I would admit) I go to Rocco's . The pizza has an Italian crust not a Greek crust and as an Italian woman who married a Greek man, there is a difference. If you like Italian that tastes Italian or you want to learn the difference, try Rocco's. The prices are in-line with other places but the quality and taste is high above the rest. I have tried a lot of their menu and I haven't found anything that I don't like.“
