The homemade pastas that you bite into and your teeth feel that little firmness,😃, the flavors that your palate starts taking on, your brain instantly wants MORE! As you savor (and possibly moan a bit to loud lol) the incredible flavors of something as simple as carbonara, w/prosciutto, red onions & Romano cheese. Every visit, including take-out has been 💯% spot on! Mentioning take out, we recently dined outside, and watched the grubbers (grub hub) mad dashes in and out multiple times! We recognized at least 3 drivers, non stop pickup and drop orders, repeatedly! Thank you so much Little Store for your incredible hard work (when no one wants to work and think they should get everything free🤬🤬🤬) You are what America is built on! From the front of the house to last dish washed, you are all a generous team, so it appears from the outside. Great Job! P.S.Your freshness is duly noted!!! There are desserts, lemon mascarpone 🍰 cheesecake (can’t remember if it’s cake or cheesecake…red, red, wine..) Just stupid delicious at the end of a fantastic meal!! And I have had the chocolate torte or something like that…. 😱😱equally as good! I would just ROLL in them if it was acceptable…🤣🤣🤣so yummy!!! “Good not have picked a better place to start a New England spring break! Good inexpensive food in a setting full of yesteryear charm. We ate at the bar and enjoyed conversations with other patrons and staff. I had an Irish Benedict… benedicts are not my go to either but this was great! We also tried the fried dough. If you visit Marblehead, definitely worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. It’s not large so I imagine there is a bit of a wait at times but totally worth it… also, cash only so make sure you come prepared!”

“First time visiting Marblehead and Mookie’s was the breakfast spot closest to where we are staying. Hubby and I both had an egg, cheese and bacon on an English muffin and pumpkin iced lattes and everything was delish! We’re going back tomorrow for breakfast again!”

And...Robert Simonelli seems to be always there making sure every patron is satisfied and happy and all is well. That's very important that the boss cares enough to be there checking on things, be seen by the patrons and show he cares.”

“Pizza is delicious and the crust is always surprisingly better than I dare so MOST pizza out there. I’ve had thin, thick, Chicago, Detroit and NY style many times over and this is my favorite crust. So ask for extra marinara on the side to dip it in and enjoooy. The owner or main chef last night and I were sympatico on this. Also he’s a total mensch- ordered a pizza and didn’t realize it was cash only, I had a $20 and he spotted me the rest. So kind, this is why I love small town joints. I will indeed be back as I always have over the years. Also, we then took that pizza and ate it at the lighthouse on the neck and watched an incredible sunset and thunderstorm pass over Beverly. What a special spot.”

“There is an enchilada dish on the menu (I can’t recall the exact name) that is smothered in mole sauce they say is their grandmother’s recipe. This is the greatest mole sauce I have ever had. It is both sweet and spicy… amazingly delicious. Absolutely my favorite dish on the menu. I’ve tried several other items as well and they never disappoint. I’ve heard a few complaints about slow service… you have to remember that they aren’t microwaving junk they bought at the market. This is the real deal! I highly recommend this restaurant.”
