“We first found mercy tavern last October! We planned a quick trip again this year and it was on our list of places to return to! We absolutely love the atmosphere, food and amazing drinks! Can’t wait to go back.”
“My husband and I sat outside and had a lovely snack in the sun, away from most of the hustle & bustle that October brings to Salem. We thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash hummus, falafel, and cauliflower & quinoa tabouleh but the real highlight for us was the apple cider! Holy. It was the best we had on our trip around New England. Not too sweet, served nice & hot, lightly spiced and so, so good! The service was wonderful as well! Best of luck to this crew, we wish you much success & hope to see you next fall!🍂☺️”
“Amazing! The Reuben blew my mind and the fries are wicked flavorful. We ate here every single day of our Salem stay and it still didn’t feel like I got enough of it. Their desserts are so good. The whoopie pies, chocolate and funfetti, remind me of childhood. I also had the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes…chefs kisses all around. The husband said the cookies were great and had several every night for a bedtime snack. They had peanut butter chocolate chip and traditional chocolate chip. Both were winners! We tried the Reuben, turkey wrap, chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, and desserts. Everything was great. We did not have one item that didn’t taste great. Make this one of your must visit stops if you’re in Salem!”
“Superb all around experience 👍👍. Chef Daniel is 🔝. Great wine and Bar programs 🍷🍾🍹”
“My friends and I went to Jolie Tea Company for a bachelorette party and had an absolute blast! The tea was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Wearing the fascinators and gloves was so much fun—other guests even commented on how iconic and cute we all looked. Highly recommend for a clean, classy, and truly memorable time! Thank you, Jolie!”

“Great NY style pizza with a gourmet twist. The manager, Stu, is a super nice guy. I highly recommend you give them a try! HUGE pizza slices!!!”
“Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!”

“We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. This is the best place to eat in Salem and highly recommend it to anyone who loves seafood! Thank you again Turners!!”

“I just love this place, we make sure we visit every time we're in Salem. Great selection of Czech beers. Very accurate tasting notes on the beer menu. Plenty of seating inside and out.
I saw that they had pierogi on the menu, but I didn't get to try them on this most recent visit (definitely next time). 🇵🇱 🥟”

“The menu had an excellent variety. My meal was flavorful and filling, and the cocktail I chose was perfect. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and made us feel welcome: the service was stellar. We are looking forward to returning soon.”

“Absolutely incredible food and great chefs! There were 9 of us that all ordered different things and we all raved and wanted to share with each other, but our portions were all so filling. Wish we weren’t traveling because I’d want this place in my neighborhood!”
“some of the more creative and better pizzas in the area. a wide variety of sandwiches, wraps and subs, plus salads and dinners (pasta or rice). what's not to like? love the melanzane and the shrimp scampi pizzas, but other combinations are good too (plus MYO, of course).”
“Wow, can I say that I just happened to be in Salem and had no plans, so I stepped into a bar I haven’t been to. The Tipsy Cowboy in Salem is definitely one of my favorite bars I’ve been to in the world! I had an amazing person named Misty and she really took care of me to make sure I always had a beverage in hand and felt as if I were home at all times in the night. I will for sure be back just to have that same, unmatched experience again.”
“We were looking for a place to watch the Lions game while in town visiting Salem. This bar was recommended to us by someone we met in Gloucester. The bar's atmosphere small, well put together, clean and welcoming Irish pub. We met the owner who made us feel like we were long lost friends. Service was attentive and consistent. We went back 2 nights in a row. Thank you, to the staff and Kieran for being great! Definitely recommend checking this place out while in town.”
“I have no problem making the statement for all to read...This is the best pizza I ever had. I decided to get a steak sub today and it was the best sub I ever had. The people are friendly and professional. Seriously, I have had pizza everywhere and nothing comes close. I'm looking forward to trying everything.”
“We stopped in for a quick beer before dinner last week and really enjoyed it. It had a very laid-back atmosphere with friendly staff. There were lots of great beer options that made it a bit tough to choose. We both enjoyed the ones we picked and can't wait to go back and try some others.”
“One of the best lunch experiences in all of New England! Delicious food, wonderful staff, variety of local beer choices. Loved it and will be back at every opportunity possible. 🔥 🤤 🍻 🍔 🔥”

“Mia our was not only our cashier but she also took our order. She was kind and had a great smile. We thank God for her which is a reminder that each person can make such a difference. The best example is Jesus who demonstrated God’s love when he came to earth to die for your and my sins in the cross and by believing in him you would not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16”
“Came here 6:44 pm 1/31/2026 to order curbside but its not shoveled out, so had to switch to drive through. Tell me how when i go to get my receipts both widows were rude and rolled thir eyes like i inconvenienced them. It was a young gentleman and woman. Not at all necessary. They need to do better.”
“I love this place! highly recommended. Impressed with the food and drinks, the atmosphere and also the staff. Kelly B was our waitress, she was awesome, our first time there, she had a great attitude and always checking in with us! thank you for the great service! we'll definitely be back!!!!!!😊”
“They accommodated us as a large group (14) for an after wedding dinner during their busy October season. Food was great. Service was excellent! Serving size was good and price was surprisingly modest for our large group.”
“In a town of witch kitsch, Trade House is a breath of fresh air. The decor doesn't scream as much maritime and mercantile history as I hoped but the atmosphere and the menu certainly make up for it. Highly recommend the Jumbo Crab Cake as a starter. This is a golden seared, griddled crab cake bursting with sweet, succulent crab meat and fresh vegetables. Served with a zesty New Orleans remoulade that packs a Southern kick and a petite salad for a crisp, refreshing balance. And their chef's *really shine with their specials. That's where I recommend the Surf and Turf Dog. And this isn’t your average frank. It’s a jumbo all beef masterpiece stacked with crispy, golden fried Essex clams, drizzled in house made tartar and a splash of tangy cocktail sauce, all nestled in a warm, buttery brioche bun. Served with kettle chips and crunchy pickles for the perfect crunch. It’s land and sea, comfort and adventure all in one unforgettable bite. There is literally nothing in Salem like this. And lastly, their drinks....oh my gods, their drinks. I had the "Trade Secret". Bold, smooth whiskey takes the lead in this mysterious and refined cocktail, delivering rich warmth with every sip. It’s expertly layered with the bittersweet depth of amaro, brightened by fresh orange, cherry, and a twist of lime. The result? A bold yet balanced drink with a touch of intrigue. It's strong, citrusy, and just sweet enough to keep you coming back for the next secret. Tourists and locals, check this new place out. Such a breath of fresh air and down the street from Derby Wharf.”

“I am a huge fan of key lime pie and have sampled it at pretty much every opportunity. Each time, I find something that isn’t an A+. The crust is too grainy or crumbly, the bakery has added meringue (which I like on lemon but not lime), or—and this is the most common offender—there is entirely too much lime in the recipe. But the key lime pie I had at Caramel was exceptional in every possible way, especially in its balance of lime flavor. I didn’t try anything else there, so I can’t vouch for the macarons or other goodies, but if you love key lime pie, RUN to this bakery!”
“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!”
“Do not miss this spot if you are visiting Salem. We had treats from our Air B&B which caused us to go in person. Everything was lovely, delicious and fresh. Customer service was fantastic. We had croissants, a bagel sandwich, fresh bread, the most amazing cookies and, my favorite, the spinach and leek puff with everything seasoning. The coffee was great too. Thanks so much!”
“We went for dinner at 10 pm after an 8 pm witch tour!! Was outstanding !! Food was delicious, our waitress Andrea was so kind and hospitable, she didn’t rush us and was very attentive ! Honestly the best hibachi I’ve had! DELICIOUS”
“Located at Salem waterfront , great view good food. Had the clam basket which had fresh clams fried lightly so much better than those frozen ones, onion rings and fries. MP on lobster a little high do had to go to the alternative.”

“Absolutely Amazing, delicious coffee best in Salem. Not over hyped. Doesn’t need to be in a bunch of tik toks, no long wait or reservations Just a great quality cup of coffee. Been going to Salem every year for a long, long time. Enjoyed my visit to Brew Box and will be going here every time from now on.”

“While visiting Salem I was super excited to try the Hocus Pocus flight, loved how there was an outdoor area and they even had a food vendor onsite! I brought my pup along for the trip and she was also welcomed with open arms and had a water bowl and a treat! If you’re visiting Salem this is a great place to stop, great vibes and friendly staff, plus pet friendly!”

“This is a great neighborhood pub! Staff is friendly. Food is good & reasonably priced. I'm gluten-free, so I ordered my burger without a bun. They didn't have GF options available. But will go back again”
“Was at Longboards recently for a family event - they were incredibly accommodating and created a customized cocktail for the occasion. It was a hit with everyone in attendance! Thank you to Hayley and the team at Longboards - we will be back!”

“We have never been disappointed with the attitude and professionalism of the staff at Londi’s and today was no exception. The pizza was delicious with healthy portions. Our server was kind, and professional. We pray that each one of you who read this review will be reminded that all this delicious food is a gift to thank God for. And the best gift you could ever have is when in his love he sent his son Jesus to die for your and my sins on the cross, and if you believe in him you would not perish but have eternal life. “We came by on our first day coming into Salem, Massachusetts. We came in at about 2:00 in the afternoon and there was a farmers market going on across the street. It was a wonderful lively place to sit and people watch. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, made sure our drink stayed topped off and kept us with great glasses of ice, cold water and on top of all that the lobster roll came out with such a delicate blend of butter and seasonings. It was beautifully put together. No wonder they're number one”

“Their orange chicken is to die for! Not too sweet, not too sourly. Also we took teriyaki chicken which was decent as well. A small restaurant, we didn’t face any crowd when we went there which is quite unexpected considering the time was weekend afternoon in Salem! The price is most reasonable as well!”
“I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza for takeout and it was EXCELLENT!! Thin, crispy crust, TONS of cheese, seared red onions, perfect amount of sauce, and the buffalo chicken had a great medium-mild spice to it. Plus, it was reasonably priced. Also, the staff were very pleasant. My only complaint is to myself for not trying this place sooner, especially since I live next door. I will DEFINITELY be back!!!”
