We thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash hummus, falafel, and cauliflower & quinoa tabouleh but the real highlight for us was the apple cider! Holy. It was the best we had on our trip around New England. Not too sweet, served nice & hot, lightly spiced and so, so good! The service was wonderful as well! “Amazing! The Reuben blew my mind and the fries are wicked flavorful. We ate here every single day of our Salem stay and it still didn’t feel like I got enough of it. Their desserts are so good. The whoopie pies, chocolate and funfetti, remind me of childhood. I also had the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes…chefs kisses all around. The husband said the cookies were great and had several every night for a bedtime snack. They had peanut butter chocolate chip and traditional chocolate chip. Both were winners! We tried the Reuben, turkey wrap, chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, and desserts. Everything was great. We did not have one item that didn’t taste great. Make this one of your must visit stops if you’re in Salem!”

“We were looking for a place to watch the Lions game while in town visiting Salem. This bar was recommended to us by someone we met in Gloucester. The bar's atmosphere small, well put together, clean and welcoming Irish pub. We met the owner who made us feel like we were long lost friends. Service was attentive and consistent. We went back 2 nights in a row. Thank you, to the staff and Kieran for being great! Definitely recommend checking this place out while in town.”

“Such a gem of a restaurant! We just happened to walk by on Friday night at 9pm and noticed how cute and lively the place looked.
So we walked in hoping there would be room and there was! The escargot were amazing and my friend tried it for the first time.
I cannot rave about this restaurant more! It’s a 10 out of 10!!”

“I've only come across a few mistakes in my order over the years. But nothing major for the most part. You have to remember that this is a fast food restaurant and things are prepared quickly and mistakes are made but, the quality of the food remains at the same level. It's a McDonald's, that's all I can tell you”

“The food is really good but I don't why every time I request for them NOT to give me the side of nacho cheese sauce and no hot sauce they STILL put it in the bag every single time!!!!! They say i still have to pay for it like what part of I do not want the side of cheese or any hot sauce don't they understand”

“I am a huge fan of key lime pie and have sampled it at pretty much every opportunity. Each time, I find something that isn’t an A+. The crust is too grainy or crumbly, the bakery has added meringue (which I like on lemon but not lime), or—and this is the most common offender—there is entirely too much lime in the recipe. But the key lime pie I had at Caramel was exceptional in every possible way, especially in its balance of lime flavor. I didn’t try anything else there, so I can’t vouch for the macarons or other goodies, but if you love key lime pie, RUN to this bakery!”

“Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!”

“Do not miss this spot if you are visiting Salem. We had treats from our Air B&B which caused us to go in person. Everything was lovely, delicious and fresh. Customer service was fantastic. We had croissants, a bagel sandwich, fresh bread, the most amazing cookies and, my favorite, the spinach and leek puff with everything seasoning. The coffee was great too. Thanks so much!”

“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!”

“The atmosphere is amazing and the seats were very soft and comfy. It’s dark but cozy and really feels like being in a speakeasy especially after entering through a door in the alley. We got there after kitchen closed so we only had drinks but our bartender Sean was amazing at making the drinks and keeping the room served.”

So for me drink options where not great and I feel I will need to bring a drink from outside. But will come back probably my new lunch spot. Just please get me Poland water and more drink veriaties and I will change the 4 stars to 5 lol”

“I've been eager to try this bakery since it took over! I'm so glad i did! We initially went in to get one thing each, and both of us left with a whole lot more than we intended to buy! The pastelitos were so amazingly fresh and delicious, and he made my Mango smoothie with a whole fresh mango! The flan was out of this world, and my friends Caramel Cake tasted like heaven! Even the french fries we got were fantastic! The gentleman who helped us (I'm guessing it was one of the owners) was so incredibly friendly, he definitely made two more local customers! We can't wait to try slices of his other cakes,as well as the other items listed on his menu! Great amount of food for the price as well! All around, a great guy, a great business!”

A generous portion larger than my fist and perfectly roasted such that all the fat was rendered out of it. Served on a bed of whipped, not mashed, potato along with a soft yet still crisp red cabbage and onion crisps ! And the gravy !!! This was my second trip there and I am going back this weekend. Great service and atmosphere as well.”
