“After 3 days of lackluster customer service at car rentals, hotels and restaurants (the kind where you have to track down silverware and plates to consume the food that has been placed in front of you) our experience here deserved a fabulous review. From the time we were greeted, to being seated and on our way out the door late on a Monday night, the experience was marvelous! Our server, Nate made great recommendations and was enthusiastic about our order, unobtrusively kept the water glasses filled and had the delicate balance of checking on us mastered.The unexpected star of our meal was the roasted beet and faro salad, although the pretzel and poutine were not far behind. The food was so good we even forgot about the beautiful cocktails we were having. Although we arrived an hour before closing, we were never rushed. Two weary travelers were cared for, served fabulous cocktails and delicious food in a timely manner so that we could return to our room to get ready for a morning flight. Highly recommend this establishment.“

“This was my first time there and definitely will not be my last. Their food and drink menu looked great, twice as much as what was posted online. Few specials available for both and prices are reasonable. Our waiter was busy but still attentive. Inside and outside seating available, with a take away market connected. This is the fish taco, which could have used more veg & sauce. The plum berry martini was delicious! The grilled chicken sandwich had a huge breast and also a big hit. Parking can be a challenge but I recommend checking out this place.“

Golden nachos COVERED in tender pulled pork and fresh cheese, chicken tenders are hand battered and well seasoned, hand cut french fries cooked to perfection. Food and service have been superb, consistent, and dependable. Definitely a regular spot for us.“

“The staff was AMAZING!!! As someone who worked in the restaurant business for 28 years I was completely amazed at how the staff handled the crowd at the Freezin for a Reason fundraiser on Jan 1st. The place was completely jammed and they were so calm and accommodating. Someone was always there to take a drink order or whatever else you needed. We were there for the fundraiser, but we will absolutely be back to visit again! Thank you all so much for the great experience!!“

“Stopped here while visiting from California. The Mac n cheese was delicious however the star was definitely the chicken and waffles! I wish I lived near by because I would honestly come in once a week for it. Service was great, staff was friendly, food was phenomenal. Cocktails were well done as well.“

“I had lunch with friends here yesterday and everything was great but I have to mention that our server, Russell, was hands done, one of the best servers I have ever had. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. He even sent over a delicious birthday dessert without even being asked! Russell is The Best!!“

“We have been here before but only for a cocktail and snack. This was our first dinner.

I’m super happy to have a new place to add to the rotation. Our meals were delicious. I opted for the Steak Frites and he got the Pork Saltimbocca, our son (5) had the chicken quesadilla. We were all really happy with our choices. The steak was cooked perfect (I get medium) it was a nice pink and the flavor packed in each bite was so good. My husband couldn’t stop praising the pork and even said “it’s the best I think I have ever had”…of course I didn’t take offense. My son and I also loved the fries served with our meals, they are like steak fries but way better.

For drinks my husband got his usual martini (and he loves places that make it right…no vermouth!) and I had a black and tan (but with the Cider Donut cider beer from Boston’s own Downeast Cider)…nicknamed the Snakebite or Black Velvet.

The location off Bay Road was adjacent to the train station, so this will be a great meet-up location on my late voyages home when we are too tired to cook. It’s got a great bar (which we visited in the past) and was comfortable with the glow of a cool fireplace in the dining room.

We parked on the side street but there seems to be ample parking all around.

This dinner definitely did not disappoint, and we will be back!

“I had the salmon and rice plate. It was good! The restaurant is a bit pricey, especially if you're not staying at the hotel it is inside of (if you are, maybe the convenience is worth it). Also, my vegetables were a bit overcooked. But it was seasoned well, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere is nice.“

“First of all this place is inside of a Plaza. I didn't know that before I got there but I do now. They have a very nice bar that seems to be pretty long accommodate plenty of guests. There is also lots of seating inside. I had the clam chowder and a pulled pork sandwich. The clam chowder was excellent. One of the better ones in the area for sure. Seemed to me like it was possibly homemade. The pulled pork sandwich was big and stuffed. I'll eat it twice. The fries that came with this were cooked to perfection. And they were good hand shaved fries. Are the people that my table had steak, Burger, chicken, and everything was delicious. This is a good place to take a client for an afternoon meal. It's also away from a lot of the hustle and bustle of Danvers. Just a good place to go and a good overall experience.“

Cosmo tasted like sugary juice so only ordered one. The Korean beef & noodle bowl was outstanding! So was the super crunch salad, although a bit too much quinoa. “LOVE this restaurant!! I have never been to any restaurant like this. WHILE you are looking at the menu. the waiter brings you hot popovers. You devour the wonderful popovers, return to the menu, and suddenly the waiter is there again serving you warm beignets (small little donuts from New Orleans) with raspberry sauce. You slurp those up, and return to the menu once again. All of a sudden, the waiter is at your table, this time with crackers and bean dip. Honestly, by the time you have placed your order, you've already eaten quite a bit of food! This is all included in the price and served to every table. We thought the food was great - delicious home cooking. For all of us budget-conscious folks, there are also nightly early bird specials (get your order in by 6:30 Mon - Fri, 5:30 on Sat). Included with your dinner is a drink and dessert, all for $19.95. This is now our go-to restaurant for a great meal with family and friends. The waitstaff is wonderful. Highly recommended!“
