Amazing pub. It was warm and cozy on a cold Salem March day, and all the food we ordered was out of this world delicious (fish and chips, shepherd's pie, beef stew). Great service, and great pub tunes playing. A truly memorable experience.
I took a chance and had the smoked fish chowder and it was a great surprise. While it had some strong flavor points it was also well balanced with the rest of the ingredients. Definitely recommend. The restaurant is lovely and the staff is a delight. I had a martini and it was proper! Thank you. PS: We're wondering why Salem and Boston, in general, prepare their meat as tips. Why that cut? Just wondering. I think it makes the meat a little drier than it should be.

We had the best experience yesterday at Olde Main Street Pub. We sat outside and it was great people and dog watching. We started with the curry fries, which we had never had but the server encouraged the choice..it was delicious. I had salmon with summer succotash and my husband loved the curry so much, he ordered the veggie pub curry with chicken. Service was fantastic, very friendly, polite and informative. We will definitely come back.
