Amazing lobster roll, best lemonade i've ever had, and great passionate service from an amazing waiter who looked like he loved his job.We were here for the inspiring Peabody Essex Museum and left pleasantly suprised with the small but cozy resturant we ended up finding.
We dined at The Lobster Shanty a couple of days before Christmas. What a fun and delicious meal! We had Nova Scotia poutine and the fried scallops. The Nova Scotia poutine was fries, cheddar cheese curds, and New England clam chowder. What a fun twist on regular poutine! The fried scallops were hot and crisp, just the way I like them. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a chill atmosphere and enjoys seafood.

This place is a little pricy, but wow are the lobster rolls good. They do not hold back with the lobster! It was terrific. It's a small place, and seems to get busy, so plan accordingly. Laid back bar vibes and queer friendly.
